    my grandma told me bout the depression, she used to keep e thing, string, laces, jars....she was so scared of being poor again...i lived w her for five years, and it was an educaton, how that generation did things, survived....she called cars jalopies...

    If anything Hoover knew the economy would recover on it's own without government involvement. Hoover was a great humanitarian that organized relief and food for children in Europe right after WW2 that he gets no credit for.

    Gangster were so much more reasonable than they are nowadays... They are like wild animals now.

      Bro all gangsters are wild animals. What are you talking about? It doesn't matter how reasonable and all that. Gang activity is still gang activity. Plus you probably weren't around at that time so how would you know?
