Thanks so much! I didn’t drill a hole in the 3d printed part or the electrical part. I shoved a screw behind the button (almost like it got stuck) maybe not the best solution but it works for me! Hope this helps!
Awesome, thanks for the fast response, I think I'm going to try and put a heat set insert for it. The core doesn't slide in with the button out. Also, did your core have nuts to screw the face to the hilt, or did you add your own?
I want to make myself a custom lightsaber as well, but I’m not to sure about the programming. Do you need to craft the printing pattern by code, is there a 3D digital space so I can simply draw it, or what?
Hey there! It's a dowel rod that I drill into with a drill bit (drill bit is sunk enough that it's stuck) and then I hot glued sandpaper to the dowel..VOILA..instant phallic make shift sander 😆 Hope this helps! Thanks for tuning in!
Great weathering

Just saw you posted on FB! Thanks for the tips and tricks!

Hey, quick question, did you have to drill a hole in the back of the hilt to push the buttons forward? Great work by the way!🤙

Great stuff man! I love the Hex3d group. Your channel is right up my alley and similar to what I am trying to build with mine. Consider me subscribed.
Thanks!! That Grail build is awesome!

The electronics piece (tube) comes already programmed! Hope this helps!
We’ll see, and cool design!
I’m trying to do Ashoka lightsabers any suggestions?
Looks like there are definitely some files out there but I don't have any experience with them. There are some on Thingiverse, Cults3D & Etsy. 🙌
What's the link for the Saber packs on HEX 3D? I subscribed
If you just subscribed to Hex3D, I believe you have to be a member for 30 days until the whole gallery of STLs open up to you..
Where can i get a custom shaped flat blade from? And would it fit and work with the other parts?
Hey there! I tried looking for a flat blade and couldn’t find one anywhereeee. Keep me posted if you do!

Where are the files?
They are part of a Patreon Hex3d.com definitely worth it in my opinion because you have full rights to sell the files. 💪
