The musicality in the smaller band was off the charts this is why I want to be a band director to have that connection and bond with the students and show how amazing they really are
Those young band directors seem to be having fun and I'm sure the kids are too. More kids need this experience.

Craigmont won they arrangements was better and they wasn’t trying to over blow and I like the director Energy the other band had a okay song book but they didn’t play the right song for this battle cause they always bring the heat but didn’t this battle

Both bands sounded great, I liked Craigmont energy better, sure karr had a fuller sound but craigmont putting out great for their size here. Also Personally I like how craigmont band director hyped over his band , gives me Brian Simmons and southern vibes lol. Some people say its doing too much when the director is T'd with the band but I like it. But overall I enjoyed both bands, no hate here

I give them props, but there were unwanted chords I picked up on, when they go on front of judge's they notice those kind of things. Memphis stilled killed me with that "The Box".
Craigmont won this to me they where small but just as power and karr band plus they had way bet band energy and over all song arrangements plus they get a extra point for having lit 🔥 director’s

Craigmount was smaller but crisp. I grew up in Chicago and played woodwind in grammar school and high school but quit because it was stale. You could here some schools bands around my house for miles, but my mother didn't want me at those schools. Someone said these bands can hang with college and no doubt they can...what people should do its take notice that they're prepared to come in and take someone's spot or at least hold their own!

Showstyle band. Mostly honed and practiced with HBCU bands. Most SWAC schools have this type of band and style
