I am in that boat too but looking forward to quilting the next 100 anyway, ha. My husband has to root me out of the sewing room when he gets hungry, funny at least to me, lol.
Jenny, it is so fun to play your tutorials. I’m in the hospital with COVID-19 and watching you helps to make the day go by faster. Some day I hope to meet you!
I love the quilt. Instructions so super and always gives me confidence. Quilting started 5 years ago with Jenny and I am continuing to learn. Thank you Missouri Star. You all Are the best.
I purchased the Quilt in a Day template years ago- never opened it, because it seemed too difficult. Never knew it had a manual with it! LOL Thx Jenny, I'm going to do this quilt, with the scalloped edges 💜❤💜
Oh wow ...Jenny this is the best kept secret I’ve never known......thank you so much , think I’ll try more fancy borders now that I’ve seen how easy it is to make that binding and do scallops......love it. Karol
What a great tutorial. Isn't it great when you watch video's that not only are explained so well, but you learn things you never knew. Thank you Jenny!
Very busy fabrics, with the white such a stark contrast that, to my eye, made it feel like nothing went together and left you with no where to rest your eyes when looking at it. Did appreciate learning the scallop binding techniquem
Thank you X 100. 3 things I now know how to do- scallops, bias binding, and a different way to knot the thread. No wonder I’m such a fan of Missouri Star.
Jenny is a born teacher! I always refer to her videos when making one of her patterns. This looks like a really fun quilt with the wild colors. Definitely going on my list 🥰
Dear Jenny, I have learn so much from your tutorials. Thank you for taking the time to teach us these new and wonderful patterns. I hope you know how much I appreciate your time and technique's.
** The “Chapter” captions while scrolling through the video timeline ** This Is Great!!!! This makes referencing the tutorial so much easier. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!
Love your videos each week. Thanks especially today for mentioning the thread cutter and threader. My mom can no longer see to thread needles so this will be good for her,I already showed her how to use the automatic threader on her regular sewing machine.
Ooo ahh! Love it. Thank you for sharing. I think I’m over my fear of scalloped borders. Have been collecting fabrics to make a granny square quilt and I’m going to add scalloped borders😊
When Jenny said "Before you cut your scallops, send your quilt to the long armer to be quilted". Part of making a quilt is quilting it. I wish she and other educators would encourage quilters to quilt their own quilts. I understand some are new, some are intimidated and others don't have the time. But there is great joy to be received when you complete a quilt from beginning to end. Just my personal opinion. I read so many comments where people are afraid to do their own quilting. Please, please give them some kind words of encouragement. Thanks. ☺ Great tutorial.
This is another beautiful quilt. Jenny is such an amazing teacher and her MSQC team all work hard. Not just for getting orders out for their customers but they work hard many many different ways. Pro tip....for beginner quilters Not only can you put nonslip fabric grips on the back of your ruler's, I also recommend getting a 5lb hand weight and put it on the top of your ruler to help stabilize your ruler. I learned this trick about 20 years ago and I have done it ever since. 😁😁 Give it a try and I hope it helps. Happy quilting and God bless y'all.
Thanks so much for the binding lesson. I always use the tube method to cut binding. You don't have to sew all those strips together and you obtain the same results. Thanks for all the encouragement.
I really enjoy your tutorials. You are so animated & your vivacity is catching. I am trying to use my stash & not add to it but you make that difficult to resist. Please continue to bring us your great tutorials.
I just used the Scallops, Vines, and Waves Template, so easy to use! Very timely video for the bias binding, as I will need to use this, soon. Thank you, once again Jenny for making it all so easy! ❤
Thank you for showing how easy the scalloped border can be! And I LOVE the pattern too! These free vidoes sure get expensive :) Adding more items to my cart! LOVE your videos so much!
So beautiful and that fabric is so cheerful, I will feel a lot more confident in doing a scallop now because I have never done one before, they looked too complicated but you made it so easy.
Love the fabric!! Plan on making a blue and white quilt like this! So excited to make this! I will have to increase it to a king, but I think that it will look amazing on our king bed!! Thank you Jenny, you are amazing! Hope to see you in Hamilton soon!!!
Thank you so much I'm getting ready to put the binding on my grandmothers quilt and a new quilter. So really needed this info. Also on my third quilt top and started making quilts for my five grown grandchildren and I think the Goose Tracks will be my next quilt. Thank you so much!
When joining my bindings, I always cut it 1/4 inch less than the width of the binding to get the pull you talked about. I match up the edges rather than overlap them. My bindings now work beautifully.
I do more like 1/8 inch less. The 1/4 inch can be a little too snug. I also match my edges. Have never tried the scalloped edge, mostly because I wasn’t sure I understood it but I need to get brave & try it.
I'm an experienced quilter, but did not know to do this, just pulling it straight to bind a scalloped quilt. I bought the scallop tool a few years ago, but was dreading trying to do the inner pleats with the binding. Thanks for all you teach us!
Good afternoon Jenny, ooo you're on the naughty chair today because you didn't press that material before trying to cut it. Mr Jenny please use your skills and sharpen those lovely big scissors because i think they could really do with it and make life easier for cutting. I love the wee red bound quilt Jenny because the colours in it are so summery and happy looking and would make a good picnic rug, babies play blanket or even a big babies quilt, hee hee hee. Thank you for sharing a skill that a lot of people find challenging and that's making that bias binding and edging around the scallop of the quilt, which just finishes it off wonderfully. Have a lovely day flower, with crafty hugs from Norah, Glenochil Village, Scotland
Jenny thank you for this tutorial I learned a lot today you are absolutely amazing The Best of the Best at least I think so have an awesome blessed day
This is so lovely. I feel like I'm Alice in Wonderland in the flower garden singing "All in the Golden Afternoon." Thanks so much for another easy winner!
Thank you for the scalloped tutorial. I should be embarrassed to tell you that I ordered the binding tool years ago when you did the first tutorial and have never used it! In my defense I was just learning to quilt at that time. Now, thanks to you and your tutorial’s I have the confidence to do this. If it wasn’t for you sharing your teaching skills I never would have started quilting. You were with me all the way.
Thank you Jenny such a wonderful tutorial. I love how easy your teachings are. I love the use of charms squares and a new technique for borders and binding. I have definitely put this one on my to do list.
Oh joy❣️ I have a crazy quilt that I’ve been hesitant to finish because I want a scallop border on it but have never done one. I have both of the tools in my quilty tool box, so with this tutorial I feel like I’m good to go. Thank you so much for demonstrating this process.
I always use a bias binding on my quilts because they fit & wear better and i have the 2 1/2 inch Accuquilt cutter. I am going for this scallop edge on my next quilt because it makes the quilt look so great. Thanks 😊
Thank you so much Jenny for sharing this scalloped edge I’ve done them often but with difficulty you make it look so easy thanks again for that quilt is beautiful❣️✂️🧵💕❤️💖💗
What a wonderful quilt!! 💜 Thank you for the tutorial on bias binding, you took all the angst out of it. Now I just need to get a scallop ruler and I'll be all set to add a nice extra feature to a quilt. It's been such a long time since I did a bias binding for a scalloped hem that I'd forgotten how pretty it is. You're a wonderful teacher Jenny!! P. S. I've noticed your weight loss, you're looking good!
What makes her so fantastic, she gives patterns and yardage. As I'm from South Africa the exchange rate makes things 15 to 17 times more expensive for me.
Such wonderful tutorials, thank you very much Jenny. I’ve only been a quilter in the past about six years and am enjoying learning with you. Thank you very much for saving my sanity during this pandemic 😷...from Innisfil Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Have to second that Memere,. Jenny you have taught me soooo much. I just love the easy way you teach. There's no pressure and you take your time for us to understand. The very best instructer/teacher I have ever had. A 74 year old from Sutton West, Ontario. Still in lockdown. Saved my sanity too.
Thanks for all the wonderful tips. Happy weekend
I love the beautiful colors and love watching you sew you explain so well thanks 4 the video
Well that just got added to my bucket list! I’m going to need to live to at least 120! 😀
You and me both! So many quilts not enough time. 😊
I am in that boat too but looking forward to quilting the next 100 anyway, ha. My husband has to root me out of the sewing room when he gets hungry, funny at least to me, lol.
Well, that’s one way to do it!😆
(I now have enough stuff to last me unto death if I don’t deteriorate any further!)
Without a doubt the Best teacher on YTube. Thanks Jenny
Jenny, it is so fun to play your tutorials. I’m in the hospital with COVID-19 and watching you helps to make the day go by faster. Some day I hope to meet you!
Hope you get better
Prayers for a complete and quick recovery.
Feel better soon 🙏🙏💛
Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Jenny. I love how many of us wait for your tutorials on Thursday evenings, so we can be 1st to see the new quilt. This quilt is so pretty.
What a great tutorial. Isn't it great when you watch video's that not only are explained so well, but you learn things you never knew. Thank you Jenny!
Very pretty florals and great blocks and scallops👍🇦🇺
I have been needing something for my layer cakes and charms... YOU READ MY MIND!!!! thanks Jenny! Grammababs
Wow!!! So cute and easy! And you dont even have to cut off the extra fabric after adding the "feet"!!
Wow! Love the bright colors!
As always, Jenny explains things well!
Very busy fabrics, with the white such a stark contrast that, to my eye, made it feel like nothing went together and left you with no where to rest your eyes when looking at it. Did appreciate learning the scallop binding techniquem
Thank you Jenny and MSQC for all the tips, tricks, and inspiration!

I agree five pound weight works great. I love that she says to do whatever works for your brain, I use the folded corner clipper ruler for binding.
