@Nicolas Zemmin if you hook a fish and that fish unspools your line to the point that you can see the surface of the spool with less than 10 yds left, you mind as well consider that line is done. Youre not getting that back.
Ideally that knot should be at bottom of the spool and not in the middle or top. If it rests at top or middle of the spool it might tangle the line while casting.

Кще толще узел нельзя было сделать?) лично я делаю маленькую петлю на начале лески и креплю на клипсе. После окончания намотки, аккуратно лезвием срезаю петлю от основной лески и убираю с клипсы.

Does not show line coming off bulk spool ,and going on reel without going against direction of twist of line .line must fall off bulk spool and spin going with it's memory onto reel spool.
I agree with you. This is one big ass knot. What I do is tie a few over hand knots, tape it down with electric tape and then spool on the line. I run braid to leader so this method works for me.

I watch these videos for hours at a time but when I get to the water I do me I’ve never actually tried anything I watch I do it the way I was taught and it works
Arbor knot so simple, no need to complicate things and the knot on this one is going to be too big and your line won't cover it properly it will make one side of the spooled line bulge

@@eternalabyzz9386 I use a clinch knot, pre-tied and looped twice around the spool.....literally takes 10-20 seconds and i have yet to have a slip

Is this a bad knot for light line? I just had a fresh spool of Berkly big game snap three times trying to put 6lb on my reel.
I use a uni knot and just double the loop end. I can tighten the knot just by turning the spool counter clockwise.

Its not useful. You dont need a special knot!. Any knot or even just tape will do.
