This is great, what veg do you suggest using ? My vet said i shouldn't be feeding them an all raw meat diet because its pure protein but i don't really think he's coming from the same place as me, but what veg would you suggest i add ?
The typical "prey model" is 80 percent muscle 10 percent edible bone and 10 percent edible organ meat. Every pet is different though. This is just a model adjust to their needs. normally you feed 2-3 percent of there body weight so my dog is roughly 100 lbs so i feed 2 ish pounds a day. i also give supplements too. my dog has bad joints and wasn't healthy when I got him.
does the books show how much i am supposed to feed? can you answer me comments because i wanna purchase this book.

tell me the ratio of meat,bone,fat and organs you need. i mean i have a 3 small dogs and ive been feeding them raw meat but i dont think its balanced however my aggressive dog doesnt really show any tyope of aggression now.
wow that was indeed a rant humandeephouseman! but at least it shows you care! when I can afford to my dogs and cats get human grade food that I make myself. sometimes they get kibble, when I cannot even afford food for us. the dogs love a piece of raw carrot as a treat. but I used to add brown rice to the dogs' meals, or other whole grains, and now am having to rethink that. my daughter ordered the book. I used to use steel cut oats, and add some to theirs, and now I know that is bad. sheesh
i hear you should feed around 2%-3% of raw meats.
