For me, imho, he's the greatest leader for many reasons, not least of all because ALL other leaders from today would certainly stuff their bags full of money and leave for safety at the very first sign of trouble. Zelenskyy has proven without a doubt he will stay and lead with a conviction and strength we have never seen before. Having said that, I am also a big fan of a few other Ukrainian leaders, most notably ((for me), Sergiy Osachuk, who is the governor of Chernivtsi Oblast. He is fantastic. But he won't go on a tour for several months, if he does, our opposition will eat him. The only possible visit in the near future is to Brussels, if Ukraine is accepted to the EU.
Putin was yapping away, trying to get the world to listen to him for 2 decades. In 50 days, Zelenskyy had got the world to listen from continent to continent. This in itself speaks louder than anything. Stay strong Ukraine.
When the interviewer asked how Zelensky wants to be remembered, tears filled my eyes. I believe there’s still hope amidst the the uncertainty. Zelensky replied with confidence that Ukraine will overcome. He is the exemplar of a true leader.

His kids are fine, they secured for generations financially and they got a whole lot of options as in where to stay, Ukrainian kids dont, he needs to stop begging the world for help coz the world will not help him, except for the west and Europe, the world opposes nazi's, Ukraine allows nazis to terrorize the Russians for years, and the nazi regime is growing and nothing is being done until now, we see that as a huge issue. Zelensky embodies the kind of leader I would follow. He's a man who instead of running away with his family when this all started, chose to stay in Ukraine and stand by his people to ensure that they would win, and to also show the world the atrocities committed by Putin to make sure he pays for the destruction he and his military have caused.

There was zero transition. Then he almost immediately went to 'you probably won't survive this, what would you like your children to know?' I really wanted to slap the interviewer for that. Not only because he really didn't need to ask that question but also because of the dark, sad look that came over the President's face.

This brought me to tears. He is incredibly human and so strong during a time where weakness would have been so much easier. He speaks so freely about his children, while Putin is hiding his over previliged children in every possible way. Even his illigitimate ones! How can Putin’s offspring not have a view on how their father behaves? It’s beyond me, or rather something brought up from the same cloth.

I have read biographies of great leaders of the past. In our own day, Zelensky is the great leader of the present war. He truly inspires love, not just admiration.
Coming from a dysfunctional family I feel compelled to say, when I see Zelenskyy talk about his love for his family, I am grateful there are good parents in this world who care so much for their children, he can think he is not a hero, but I don't just see him as a paragon of freedom and democracy anymore but also of fatherhood. I thought that I could cry no more, that this war had made me insensible, but hearing him say that he wants to be remembered as a regular person... man... it warmed my heart and made me burst into tears at the same time... and it was weird that I was greatful for crying. For me, imho, he's the greatest leader for many reasons, not least of all because ALL other leaders from today would certainly stuff their bags full of money and leave for safety at the very first sign of trouble. Zelenskyy has proven without a doubt he will stay and lead with a conviction and strength we have never seen before.
Having said that, I am also a big fan of a few other Ukrainian leaders, most notably ((for me), Sergiy Osachuk, who is the governor of Chernivtsi Oblast. He is fantastic. Truly a moral and patriotic man.

There was zero transition. Then he almost immediately went to 'you probably won't survive this, what would you like your children to know?' I really wanted to slap the interviewer for that.
