Discipline is easy when you feel passionate about it. I love skateboarding so much. It's taught me how to cope with the trauma in my past, how to cope with my anxiety and depression, and gives me a natural high that's better than weed and alcohol. Of course it's taking time for me to learn tricks I'm having fun learning. I'm taking baby steps to learn tricks so I will have that muscle memory. I've taken a couple of bad falls and didn't get seriously injured only because I had my helmet on and protective gear. I do have a sugar and caffeine addiction but I balance it out by eating fruits and vegetables. I'm in perfect health for almost being 50 years old. I feel like I'm in my 20s. I want my bones to get stronger as I get older so I will do exercises to keep them getting stronger.
Just came across this video today, Im 27 and I’ve been skating since I was a little kid, I wish I knew this stuff back then but I’m grateful I’ve came across it now, thanks legend
Hey bro, just wanted to say that I stumbled upon your 1 year skateboard improvement video and I was blown away by your progress! It's amazing to see how much you've improved over the course of a year, and it's truly inspiring to see someone put in so much effort and dedication to achieve their goals. As someone who's a bit of a beginner and admittedly a bit of a chicken, this video has given me a much-needed boost of motivation. Thanks for sharing your journey with us and for being a source of inspiration for those of us who are just starting out. Keep shredding and keep inspiring!
Idk, I think a lot of these tips depend on the person. I skate and all kind of conditions and I've noticed that the only days that I ever really make any progression are right after a 12 and a half hour shift that I did on 3 hours of sleep and then immediately went to the skatepark. The things that I have learned during those sessions have outnumbered my well-rested, well motivated sessions tenfold. I personally feel like the hazy mindset allows me to throw out a lot of my inhibitions and go for things that I normally wouldn't thus enabling me to feel things that I normally wouldn't and then learn from them.
Good points. Don't agree with all of them; adults don't need more than 7 hours of sleep, and as people age that reduces to 5-6. Sleeping more on a frequent basis is just wasting your life away - your body doesn't need the sleep. It's 3am, I have an 8am appointment and apparently I'm on RUclips still... Maybe your social media points are spot on, lol...
Consistent sleep is more important then length. This has been proven. A super consistent 6 hours of sleep (at let's say 11pm) is better than 7 hours where you sleep sometimes at 9pm, 11pm or 1 am. That not consistent.

You’re amazing
Great vid! And valid points!
Not trying to be a douche, but perhaps learn spelling if you intend to use so many written points on screen.
