No cutting is necessary to remove the old bushing. I’ve found that hammering it from the inside out is most effective.
This is the proper way to do it because the hole is tappered. He struggled when its not needed those come out in 30 seconds, hitting them out from the inside like you said.
Your the first video that really gave me an idea of how to get bushings pressed back in yet I dont have the used rotors or c claps so i may just give in and find the shop to do it for me, yet i will remove the bushing first and clean up the inside of the hole for the bushing before having done..which i did see on another video just by using a drill and going around the inside of the rubber which seemed a tad easier to do
You’re supposed to remove it from the inside out. Comes out much easier. The direction of your install was correct.
eladsgarr yes! I didnt see this comment before i posted mine
The brake rotors idea is what's up!
Binging on videos to how to do this. I need to get it done.
Thanks for good ideas
Brilliant.
Arent these trailer arm bushings tapered? So you have to hit it from the backside of the trailing arm. Not the side facing out.
Yeah I hit it out the wrong way but I installed the new ones correctly
Thank you mate! 🙏
I did it another way and it's even easier and yes NO TOOLS !!!
Everything you heard about polyurethane bushings is false. Use energy suspension next time. There far superior to the tru-hart
Thank you so much
No problem! I'm here to help
long vid before getting to the point..... and doing them off the car is dead easy... its doing on the car is the hard bit.
You didn't prep right cleaning circle 5 minutes is rite
Better off buying the tool instead of going through all of those hoops.
I did it without special tools... Here: ruclips.net/video/P8NXDlqkcWo/видео.html
You talk a lot but you didnt show us what tools you use... Stop talking dude
