Chennai Express, banker engines attachment etc

All train stop here at Kulem for Banker Loco Engine attachment from behind to push the train through Braganza Ghat (steep gradient 1:37). Freight train takes more Bankers or pusher engines. Bankers are detached at Castlerock station and attached again to all returning trains in the front as stoppers, extra brake on the slope gradient. More pics flic.kr/p/2mk8987
