An update just so you know i called HME and from what i understand is they are GSM Outdoors which owns stealth cam and muddy and the lady said yes it does plug right in , no adapter needed for stealth cam !
Question. A month I bought an HME Solar battery pack since it came highly recommended and a Tactacam Reveal Pro 3.0. I fully charged the battery with the enclosed charging cord. The problem is the battery wont stay charged in the field. I do have a bunch of cloudy days this time of year and very little sun. It does say and been reported it will trickle charge on cloudy days. Am I doing something wrong? Is the battery bad? Even with a fully charged battery it will only last 4 days. I'm only taking pix, no videos. Thanks for your help.....
A couple things to check. First of all, chances of the battery being bad are slim. I’ve heard of this happening with tactic cameras. Number one, make sure that your firmware in your camera is up-to-date. Number two, if you have a weak signal, your camera is always searching for a signal, so it will wear down the battery. Number three, your settings and the amount of pictures that the camera takes are very important. Mostly, the settings check. If you have it set to instant, it will drain your battery faster. I would double check all of those things in your camera before you start thinking about the battery being bad. If you determine that the battery is bad, You can order new batteries from Amazon, they only cost about $20.
@@Horn_n_Fin_Outdoors Thanks for the timely and detailed response. Firmware seems to be up to date. With the Pro 3.0 it should tell me when an update is needed. I changed the setting from Instant to Daily. You hit on the signal, or lack thereof, I think that's my main issue. We have a poor Verizon signal right here. I took my phone to the camera and it was bouncing from 1 to 2 bars. So lack of sun and a poor signal I believe is probably my main issue, unfortunately....
@@troyswanson4845 i dont think the lack of sun effects it as much as you think. the battery capacity alone should power that camera for months easy. The setting check from Instant to Daily will have a massive impact. Not much you can do about the signal though, and that may be giving you problems too.

Norm, These boxes plug directly into the spypoint flex s cameras without falling out.. I seen other people complaining about it doesn't fit?
Yes, plug and play for spypoint cameras. If you have a Tactacam, you need an adapter
What cord does the Moultrie edge 2 use for this battery or does the cord comes with the batter? Thank you
The charging cord comes with it.
I can’t find the link for a connector to a tactacam reveal SK camera
Here’s the link: amzn.to/3OWKhR4
It doesn’t fit
Hello, question. i bought the adapters for my tactacam from the Amazon link. They are super loose? Any help
Sometimes cutting off a small doughnut of material from the part that goes into the camera will help. You can do it with a razor or sharp knife.
Thank you i will trybit out @Horn_n_Fin_Outdoors
@@TFHunter365 that should work for you. good luck!
@Horn_n_Fin_Outdoors i tried. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to stay connected. I bought 4 solar battery cans looks like I might sell them.
