This song had powerful meaning for me when I was 16 years old. It throw me into country music and she was my biggest teenager crush 😄. Today she's one of our proudest Canadian legends 🇨🇦🖐️
The year was 1999... I had a friend whos friend was Shania's tour lighting director. He got us 4 tickets to her "Come on Over" concert at Arco Arena in Sacramento, Ca. I was a 100% Shania fan, knew every word to every song, nearly wore out the CD, and we were in the 3rd row, and I was on the isle. She gave me a 'high 5' as she walked down the isle singing 'That Don't Impress Me Much'. I watched CMT continuously waiting for her music videos. The good ole days!
QUEEN! Favorite song-Any Man of Mine. Favorite video-That Don't Impress Me Much. When Shania got ill and had to leave music, it was a sad day for country pop music. So glad she regained her health and strength and got back to performing. (Only to have Covid hit). Shania was sick with undiagnosed Lyme disease for quite some time. So jealous you get to see her live. Thx Travis😎

So glad you reacted to a Shania vid. As I said in my comments on another video of yours, she's my favourite - loved her since I was 3. That's 21 years of loving Shania - sadly only 12 when I first started collecting her CD's. Would loved to see you react to some of her ballads, even more pop rock stuff, duets & Shania Now songs. Now didn't perform as well critically as her earlier albums but it did debut at #1 & I consider it's songs some of my favourite of hers (especially since they're autobiographical) But All her songs are my favourites, nearly impossible to rate them individually. YST1, FTMO, F&FA, TDIMM, IGGG, are probably at the top of the list but her music is the bomb - I love how she blends Country Pop & Rock together - I call it CPR because Shania knocks you out, blows you over with her stuff & then has to perform CPR on you. 😂 In my opinion she's the most beautiful women in music & nobody else tops her. Plus she's such a nice, loving down to earth person - not self-absorbed, arrogant, bigheaded like some other artists. Definitely react to those videos plus Endless Love (LR&ST - most beautiful duet ever imo) Her vocals are sublime in that & she's so gorgeous. I saw Shania live in 1997. The ticket salespeople messed up and assigned us seats that were to the side and rear where we could not see her. Soooo....they moved us closer about 5 rows and still to the side but the good side view. She is awesome live. Her voice has suffered a bit since her bout with Lyme disease and she is getting older, but she is still awesome.

They never knew the name Mutt Lange! In 1993, Mutt finished working with Backstreet Boys, Michael Bolton and Bryan Adams. While working with Bryan Adams, Mutt discovered Shania on radio. Shania is incredible, she was considered The Perfect Woman because she was not only perfectly proportioned the features of her face were also perfect, I believe it’s called asymmetrical, balanced and spaced perfectly. I'm a Pentaholic / Home Fry too! Home Free beats Pentatonix for me personally mainly because I prefer more country leaning stuff but they're both excellent. Shania's my favourite artist of all time & ABBA my favourite group. What's your opinion of Shania Now, personally I love her new stuff - critics always seem to attack her, I can't wait for her new studio album & hopefully she'll do a Christmas album soon too.

Matthew I just turned 54 last week, she was killing it when she came out with her album, all over country and pop stations, of course nostalgia for me, so upbeat and if a ballad, so beautiful. Her heart and spirit are also beautiful, she’s real, that makes her very special, she’s been at the bottom worked her way to the top, emotional and health issues and now she’s back. Her songs made women feel more empowered and valuable, she taught us our value through rockin music ❤️
I love Shania! Always have, I can't think of a song she did that I didn't like. And many of her songs hit on topics like being respected and not just a good time and a fast ride. She is one of the many women over that era who showed that women are more than a beautiful face while still being very much fun, quite feminine, and even flirty when she wanted.
yep, we all fell in love with her, she hit the scene like britney spears in "one more time" imagine being a record exec and discovering her...it's like discovering Tut's tomb, her ex-husband helped make her so big although of course she's a true talent, but just look at the bands he produced..HUGE rock bands

I love Shania!! My college friends and I would go to the local honky tonk every weekend (small Georgia town in the middle of nowhere, nothing better to do!), and Shania songs were played a LOT! My fave was "Man! I Feel Like a Woman". Now that music video raised eyebrows! 🤣 Hope you react to that one soon! Ever since I got it 10 years ago it gets played often, like all her others. I only started collecting her music when first stumbled across a CD of hers when I was 11 or something. One of the first CD's I selected. ST UP! 🙂 Probably my favourite album of hers (as a whole) I absolutely love her. Love all her songs.

Yes, talk about a walk down memory lane. Shania was huge when I in high school. Your right she was definitely leading the way for bringing country into the mainstream pop world and some were kinda resistant to that. Do you remember the music vid for man i feel like a women? I remember people losing their over that cause they felt she was being way too sexy and not true to country music. Thank goodness she didnt listen to the haters... Incase you didn't know, 3 different versions of this song were released to different markets. The US got this version, Canada got the Dance Mix version, and here in Australia (including NZ/UK I think), we got the Matt Lange Mix, which is a pop/punk version. It also uses the same music video. It became her breakout (and first), song here in Australia, and several of her latter hits such as "That Don't Impress Me Much", "I'm Gonna Getcha Good!" and "Up!" (to name a few), also had pop versions released for our market that used the same music video. I'd highly reccomend listening to 'em.
