  • Hastings Miniature Railway - Episode 38 of Miniature Railway Britain.
A visit to the 10 1/4" gauge Hasting Miniature Railway where we see steam and diesel locos in action.
We also see the semaphore signals at Hastings Railway Station, enjoy a trip on the East Funicular Railway and visit a Fisherman's Museum.
Please do excuse the wind noise in this video. I was very windy on the day of filming and I've done my best to talk out of the wind as much as possible but with winds as strong as they were inevitably there is some wind interference, even with a mic!

Nice. When I went to the Bluebell Railway in May 31st,2023,We stopped by at Hastings and we found the miniature railway. Sadly,we didn't have a ride on them but we did see the Big Blue diesel and a LBSC Tank Engine.

Great to see the HMR doing well, I lived in Hastings and volunteered at the railway in the late 1960's.
The loco Uncle Jim was built by the chap running the railway in the 60's (Jim Hughes) and was finished in 1968.
