Man, the photography of these videos are getting better and better. Kudos Capt Godz with having one of the best film/production crews in not just fishing but any type of RUclips channel
The GrassSalamander there's a lot of content in RUclips that is professional and has quality. This show has history in cable tv. It's very nice that the team play it on here. I know all comes to money but at the end of the day all RUclips's viewers that follow this show are anglers or fishermen who will spend money on products and places advertised here.
Another awesome and beautifully produced video from Colorblind Media! We fish the keys all the time but have never been to this area. Maybe our next trip will be worth a little visit there. Thank you for the great content!
Fantastic video George!!! OMG what a series ( 2 parts? a series, lol). Incredible photography, editing, voice overs, etc. really well done!! Thank you for an incredible experience!
5:56 Little underhand pitch for the product placement... It must be working... I own three Yeti's and have seen every single episode of this show lol! Great content as always Capt. George keep it coming.
There is nothing like fishing down there. He isn't kidding, as soon as your line goes in you get a fish, whether it be reef fishing, inshore or deep. I am used to fishing in NJ and it's miserable. Waiting all day for a bite is brown water and greenhead flies biting you all day. I clearly am doing life incorrectly.
Aiden Heaps if you have a lot of money..sure come!!! Lol. By the way..the calm you fing in the "tortugas" it's not near to the way of life in south fl. You should know, like Houston.
Turned out good. I was looking forward to this one, thanks! If you don't mind answering questions, what was your fuel burn stats going roundtrip(total gallons used, and the boats MPG)? I've done the trip many times in large/midsize center consoles, but I'm debating taking my bay boat that only holds 53 gal of fuel.
So when you catch the taxman, does that mean you sacrifice a lure? Or do you have cut or live bait on a circle hook that will deteriorate if left as a lip ring?
It's possible to dehook a shark with minimal risk if they aren't hooked deep in the mouth/throat and you have long pliers. Otherwise, virtually all modern hooks are made of an alloy that rusts quickly, so that the hook will rust out of the mouth of the fish in a matter of weeks
Would have been better if you had discussed your fishing setup and techniques...I can watch people reel in fish on any of hundreds of RUclips channels. Also, what is the song that is periodically played by a guitar?
The fishing is great but I prefer less slow-motion and more talking about the fishing. Where did you get your live bait? Are you chumming? How deep? What are you using for a lure? Showing the fish underwater might be a neat trick but for me it kills one of the exciting parts of fishing...waiting to see what's on the line. Try to get some shots of the first sign of color from above the water just as the fisherman sees it. Then we as the viewer get to join in and guess what it is.
Best video editing.... Best locations...... Best shots...... Great fishing....... Damn what am I doing wrong with my life lol
Thanks so much!!!

David Milne sorry I don't recall exactly what I burned for a total on the trip. I do average about 2.7- 3.1 mpg with typical loads.
I carried 15 extra gallons as a cushion but it wasn't really necessary. The Triton holds 96 gallons.
Keep fishing never stop

What rods were you using on the larger spinning setups?
How do you like those slammer 3's? And what sizes were you using?I still have an original slammer and it's still going strong a decade later.
8500 and 9500's. I love them. Zero issues to date.
Ready lol
Where did they store all those fish while on the boat?

Would have been better if you had discussed your fishing setup and techniques...I can watch people reel in fish on any of hundreds of RUclips channels. Also, what is the song that is periodically played by a guitar?
Dunno what song exactly, but Fresh Catch provides all the show's music
