I've never posted a comment to a video I've done before that wasn't a reply to another comment, but I'm going to do that here, now. The most discouraging thing I've found in creating content for IPM is the sheer number of people who delight in telling me I'm wrong. There aren't a lot of people putting up tutorials on this game. And unlike every other game I've done content for, experienced people in this game get upset that something isn't 100% accurate instead of appreciating that someone with an audience is drawing attention to a game they love. Their lack of gratitude and their inability to be welcoming is incredibly discouraging and very off-putting. A large part of the experienced community that surrounds IPM - not all, but a large part - comes across as arrogant and unaccepting. Even the subReddit is unwelcoming. Many questions are answered only with a link to a website that is difficult to navigate, rather than a human talking to a human. My goal is to teach what I know at this time to new people. In researching for my videos, and then teaching what I've researched, I learn and progress. And yes, later I find I was wrong about a couple of things. But I have to start somewhere! I want to make things easier for new players because there is a lack of support in the community. Without new players, the game will die, and I don't want to see that happen. I would rather not create content for this game if every single video gets torn apart with "well, akshully" on the one or two points I was off on. For those who request Idle Planet Miner videos and who appreciate the help I'm able to offer, thank you, thank you, thank you. If I continue creating content for this game, it'll be for you.
Yours are the first vids I've seen that do a proper explanation on how to push past the mid game. I've found them very helpful and appreciate your efforts.
Thanks for this advice, I was getting stuck at planet 34, now I made a fresh galaxy worth 2.3q 40 planets bought and telescope 17 researched, took a long time to get debris scanner but that literally unlocked all research for me 💪
my personal top 3 are : 1. 10% x2smelting ,2. -20% crafting materials ,3. 10% x2crafting , but now i know what i have to do after auto asteroid . thanks
Love your video, keep em coming! I have a question please, are you using samsung notes? Thats a smart way to bring up your notes in the screen, but....how do you do it? I was looking through options but never found it, to be able to have IPM in the background and yet use notes at the same time. Using Samsung S22 here
Oh, sad. I just responded to your other comment. I don't believe the S22 has the option, as the access is granted through the stylus. It's my favorite part about having a stylus.
Hello. I am definitely one who appreciates your videos. I saw the tips on not unlocking beyond planet 1 - 7 a little late, but it was not to bad. Now am not going beyond planet 13 and the silver is getting me easily to 1b. In about 45 min. But when would you recommend to move past this point?
I'd make it a goal now to unlock the auto miner for asteroids. Have that be where you aim now. You should be able to gradually go farther and not need to stop all the time at just planet 13. See how far you can get for your next challenge.
Red means it's slowing things down, green means it's flowing well. You want the red dot to always be next to mine and never next to cargo or ship speed, as that'll effect the value of your asteroids and debris scanner.
I minimize it. It's a feature of the S23 Ultras (and s24, I believe) and the entire Note line. If they removed that functionality, I'd be so disappointed!!! If you're on one of these phones, you should be able to tap the line at the top of the note and select the minimize symbol.
Some Miss-Information in the Video. The Value you say from your VPS Planet includes Merchant ship and stars, but only Base Value counts for the Debris (and Asteroid Size). Also, Debris drops every 21min 50 seconds and during Time Warp there is only one drop, not a couple
Good to know. I can always count on Idle Planet Miner players to correct me. 😁 Though, I wouldn't call it misinformation. Rather, still learning the game. (The definition of "misinformation" is this: "false or inaccurate information, especially that which is deliberately intended to deceive.") I've never tried to deceive anyone. I use this channel as a way to learn the games I'm playing.
@@GUNDAMTIME its just false information and newer players start to belive that theire Debris should increase with more stars or markets on the vps planers ores witch is just not true. and also they start to belive that they should get multiple debris during a Time Warp witch is not true. @@GUNDAMTIME I can agree that there is some wrong information. Hi do u have any tips on how to progress? I've seen the tips and tricks videos, which have helped, and after seeing how crazy ur galaxy is in this video, I just can't comprehend how big it is🤯. Started playing the game like a month or two ago and the highest galaxy I've gotten was like 20B after using like 30 boost for a tournament😭, so yeah I would appreciate anything that could help🙏
I've got another video called the ultimate beginner guide or something like that. It's loaded full of tips and tricks, if you'd like to check it out. I'm trying to remember everything I said in that one. The game really just requires a lot of patience. I didn't participate in my first tournament for a long time. It's really hard at first! And is really slow. If you can afford it, definitely buy the no ads thing. That helps. And focus on selling at 12.5m. A lot. It'll gradually get faster and faster.
@GUNDAMTIME that's good to know, I'll watch that video, I have bought the no ads thing which was actuslly worth it, I was sceptical at first but it's actually amazing. Thank uu!
Yeah, if you haven't been playing long enough, trying to get to the debris scanner is a waste of time. I go over what to do for beginners in other videos.
I haven't bought that option, but might still. I would choose mine first, then probably craft or smelt, depending on how far you are. If you're in the end game (getting advanced robots really quickly), then mine first and mine second would be a good option.
This game is a scam. You all you get from spending money is that you realize that there isn't really a game there faster. And check your data usage. My game used over 600 MB of data before my plan cut it off. This game needs to stay on so it can use for phone and its data connection. That's why your mines basically stop if you close it. They want you to keep it running all night so your phone and IP address can mine crypo or hack accounts or spam. Definitely scam.
@@GUNDAMTIME to be clear, I bought the remove ads, the daughter ship and the elder ship. The game itself is a ripoff, but it's a scam because it's a front for a crypto miner or other shady operation. I'm going to take it to the tech shop and see if they can clock how much of the CPU it is using. Bet it's not the .5% the game would realistically require.
