The video is on youtube so you can watch it yourself and draw your own conclusions. It happened while they were guessing Baekhyun’s weight and the members were trolling him and giving obviously numbers that were too high for Korean beauty standards. They were having fun and joking. Lucas, in the moment, blurted “as heavy as a pig”. He was obviously joking and Baek went along with the joke. Afterwards, Exo-Ls invaded Lucas’ social media accounts with malicious comments and death threats. Just to be clear, I understand how people could get offended over that, especially Baek. Even though he took it well on camera, we don’t know how he really felt. However, it was also clear, at least to me, that Lucas said it without any ill-intent. Many fans mentioned that in Hong Kong it is not offensive to be compared to a pig, because it is considered a cute animal. I don’t know, never been there, but as proof there is a behind the scenes of Turn Back Time, where Xiaojun calls Lucas a pig and piglet and Lucas just rolls on the couch laughing (I think the video is called “Chef Xiao kitchen” or something like that). Also from observing Lucas long enough, he is one of the biggest sweethearts and would never intentionally hurt anyone. I do understand that some people might take offense and that’s ok. There are many cultural differences to take into account, both among members and with the fans. However, I am sure Lucas and Baek can solve it between themselves. And fans of course can express there feelings, too, without resorting to cyber-bulling and violence. This incident deeply affected Lucas, he looked depressed and down for months. To me personally, sending death threats over something like this is inexcusable.

The video is on youtube so you can watch it yourself and draw your own conclusions. It happened while they were guessing Baekhyun’s weight and the members were trolling him and giving obviously numbers that were too high for Korean beauty standards. They were having fun and joking. Lucas, in the moment, blurted “as heavy as a pig”. He was obviously joking and Baek went along with the joke. Afterwards, Exo-Ls invaded Lucas’ social media accounts with malicious comments and death threats. Just to be clear, I understand how people could get offended over that, especially Baek. Even though he took it well on camera, we don’t know how he really felt. However, it was also clear, at least to me, that Lucas said it without any ill-intent. Many fans mentioned that in Hong Kong it is not offensive to be compared to a pig, because it is considered a cute animal. I don’t know, never been there, but as proof there is a behind the scenes of Turn Back Time, where Xiaojun calls Lucas a pig and piglet and Lucas just rolls on the couch laughing (I think the video is called “Chef Xiao kitchen” or something like that). Also from observing Lucas long enough, he is one of the biggest sweethearts and would never intentionally hurt anyone. I do understand that some people might take offense and that’s ok. There are many cultural differences to take into account, both among members and with the fans. However, I am sure Lucas and Baek can solve it between themselves. And fans of course can express there feelings, too, without resorting to cyber-bulling and violence. This incident deeply affected Lucas, he looked depressed and down for months. To me personally, sending death threats over something like this is inexcusable.
I watched the AAA ceremony of them and Lucas is obviously not okay, I wonder what happened but i saw your comment and maybe that is the reason why he was like that. Felt bad for our baby giant, i hope he is doing good now☹️
