it must be so hard for shotaro entering a group thats been around for 4 years and being in a different country with a different language. Most of the NCT have even trained together and lived together for so many years, so they're basically like family to each other, so shotaro has a long way to go until he can be completely comfortable with the members and the language. But im so happy that the members are trying really hard to make him feel comfortable like lucas and taeyong.
Moreover, 22 members at the same time with different background and character, it must be tiring like you're just get into a classroom with no one you know 🤧 idk Shotaro's MBTI but if he's an introvert like me, i'd die in loneliness during the early days.
NCT has the concept of debuting new members so I think they are all ready to welcome new members :) but I did pay attention to the fact that Shotaro and Sungchan were put with Lucas and Mark for the first Resonance photo shoot. I think they are probable the least threatening hyungs with most experience
Shotaro's strong mentality is really admirable.imagine being an introvert and getting along with the other members who live for so many years together ,can't wait 'til he's fully fluent on korean and get some interaction with every members and I also hope that sm will give him and sungchan a content 🙏

Lucas was so kind and considerate toward Shotaro in this, it made me tear up. Letting him know he could use Japanese if he had any struggles trying to articulate something, hyping up his skills, asking him questions so he could open up and feel more comfortable, even messing around with him and making him laugh to kill off any awkwardness. i kinda feel that lucas sees himself in shotaro cuz when he debuted with boss he wasnt really close to all the members in that unit ( like he was but uk what i mean) , had language barrier and also noone would understand shotaro's sittuation better than lucas himself, so he genuinely wants to take care of shotaro and wants him to feel welcome to the nct fam and thats so so sweet of him

lucas deserves more credit than the himbo personality people always think of him as. he's very sweet, gentle, and considerate of other people as shown here with shotaro. believe it or not, he was one of the first people to approach yangyang when they were trainees, as yangyang was so shy that he didn't talk to anyone for THREE DAYS and he was even left on the way home bc they forgot about their existence 😫
