This bow is actually amazing if you understand childes kit better Rotation with this bow should be ranged ult and then melee stance. In melee stance, normal and charged attacks grant a stack (they are considered normal attacks not skill damage), and the riptide generated from his attacks in melee mode are considered skill damage. You get all 4 stacks from an ult and a few attacks in melee stance, no need to fiddle around with bow attacks or trying to get the hit from stance change itself.

Mihoyo blessed me with bones luck for this bow and I love it. This bow also seems to work well with Aloy cause you can increase her damage also with her skill and burst being easy to get she can actually do a ton of damage with her stacks + the bow’s. It is also childe’s bow so yeah.
i love this bow a lot, finally my childe has a 5 star bow and it's his bow 😭 he uses it in the Bossfight. Plus i think it fits him, because it brings out his eyes and Vision. Technically you could also say mistsplitter doesnt fit ayaka, or the purple bow doesnt really fit yoimiya, but it is their weapon.
I thought since Childe is kinda in Liyue, His bow would have Liyue materials, But they couldn’t miss the opportunity to make the Wolfs materials useful lol.

Childe's a very complicated character. When I first pulled him, (he was my first 5*) it took me more than a month to figure him out - although to be fair I had also just started playing then. That being said, I now understand him pretty well... This IS his bow. First off, it's what the Childe boss uses. But secondly, the 4 stacks this bow needs to be at full potential means this bow is best used by a character who uses their full kit every rotation - you guessed it, Childe. Ganyu does not do her full kit every rotation, neither does Fischl, Sara, Diona, or Yoimiya - heck, literally no one but Childe does. For archers, using a combination of normal + charged attacks is nearly always weird, and only Childe really does that (btw, Childe's basic attack level does not affect his melee dmg at all, and you never rly use his bow attacks, so anyone raising Childe - don't worry about leveling his basic). That being said, Childe's usual rotation is literally perfect for this bow: swap into Childe, use his ranged burst (1 stack). Switch to melee stance (2 stacks). Then you go into his attack pattern, which is usually two normals + one charged (final 2 stacks). Ideally, you only have Childe on the field for about 15 seconds (again, making the bow perfect for him, since its duration is 15 seconds). You then swap out for another teammate, usually Xiangling or Beidou - or in a quickswap team, you go do everyone else's bursts. By the time you come back, your CD should be gone. If you play him right, CD should never be an issue. Also... 60k+ for a lvl 7 ult that's not vaporized, without even the 2pc heart of depths, is SO good lmao. If you had vaporized it, it would've been 120k. If he were built right, I bet you could've gotten him to 200k. I have gotten more than 300k with him so I can assure you that he is capable of very high dmg. He simply needs the right conditions to shine.
If you're running a childe xiangling vaporize team, you are supposed to build xiangling with a bunch of elemental mastery not childe because childe attacks fast and applies hydro fast, and xiangling attacks slow, so xiangling will be the one vaporizing not childe
Moga you don't seem to care about Childe so much, but just so you know : Only the level of his E matters for the damage in his changed stance form. The normals (out of the stance) are really rare to be used.

Bruh, that's so true. Like what exactly do they think the "polar" part refers to? It certainly isn't the Liyue climate. It also matches his weapon constructs, Vision, and eyes perfectly. People claim it's Ganyu's because it's blue. By that logic, Thundering Pulse is Fischl's bow since it's purple and has "thunder" in the name.
This is how i imagine all Childe haters use Childe, literally leaving E on for fun among other things. Keep rolling with Ganyu, she is a no brainer.(no offense)
challenge idea : use a team who uses only weapons from the same series; for example all skyward weapons, all sacrificial etc. but they all have to be different weapon types (sword, polearm, bow, claymore, catalyst etc)

In this context however, Moga referred to his Childe's total ATK as his "base" which Pyro Resonance does buff. Just to clear out any misunderstandings here.
It is absolutely Childe’s bow and it works really well for him. I’m a hybrid Childe/Zhongli main and this is, quite honestly, best in slot weapon for him. He also uses it in his boss fight and when you get the max stacks? Chef’s kiss. The full description on the bow also tailors to the Fatui, so LOL It’s definitely not anyone else’s bow.
Um Childe’s The title is rhetorical I hope, it’s literally tailor made to work perfectly with Childe’s normal combo. Just playing Childe normally activates all 4 stacks lol For any other bow user it’s a good stat stick with high crit
Moga I like your content a lot, I like that you try to figure out the game instead of just reading guides, but if you want to showcase a character please understand their kit first. Childe is a really complex character, and you don't have to like him of course, but you have him at lvl80 with his bow. 1. Swap back to ranged mode after using him, or if course you're gonna have eternal cooldowns 2. His normal attacks in melee mode scale with his skill 3. Xiangling doesn't apply pyro fast enough for him ot vaporize, he's an enabler. You can only vape his ult, or with a very specific team (Kazuha, Bennett and Jean, called sunflower Childe) 4. His best roation is ranged ult, swap to melee and auto attack, melee ult if you have it. It will give you all the stacks. 5. He's a,azing at aoe. Killing a bunch of small enemies with him is super satisfying.
yeah, calling childe's 60k burst "not impressive" when it wasn't vaporized and he didn't even have 2pc hod rly killed me... childe is a very cool and fun character to play (if you like the playstyle ofc, not everyone does) and the least moga can do is not make childe look BAD in a showcase...

As someone who has every bow user in the game, I'm just glad I FINALLY have a freaking 5 star bow. Now, at the very least, all my characters have a bow of some sort that works for them, and Childe and Yoimiya don't need to flip flop on rust. This bow goes to child for me since yoimita doesn't get as much optimization from it as he does, my bursts can now actually do something compared to the pathetic 50-100 cr/cd ratio he had before
It’s a very good bow on Childe because when you go into Melee Stance, Childe’s Normal and Charged Attacks are converted, so you don’t have to do that first basic arrow shot! You can get all stacks by being in Melee Stance! ^^
@@spki8656 The problem isn’t what he was expecting, it’s that he thinks Childe isn’t “impressive”, which could some people the wrong idea that he isn’t good. When in reality, you need to experiment with him a lot before you’re comfortable playing him.

childe isn't even that hard to play you just need a functional brain. he does a whole lot of dmg with aimed charged attacks too. really fun and rewarding in my opinion, I wish i had a 5* bow to make him even better ;;;

If you use child on a vape team, the one who will proc the vape reaction isn't Childe but the pyro character, so running Childe on EM build wont work that well, the EM should be going to the pyro carry instead, just my opinion

Hi Moga! I'm actually a Ganyu main, and I use kokomi with her! She goes best with Kokomi as in my opinion for freeze. It does ultimate freeze all the time! I have some tips for ultimate freeze you could use maybe :) So if you're using Ganyu with Kokomi, Do kokomi 'E' first. Then do Ganyu 'Q' Then switch to Kokomi and do her 'q'. If you do Kokomi's 'q' when her "Bake-Kurage" [the jellyfish] is already on the field, it refreshes its duration. So you get a longer freeze! :D I hope it helped :)
Moga: Venti could get all of the stacks of the bow pretty easily with this bow but he's not a DPS-- Me, who uses a DPS Venti and has just put this bow on him: -MASSIVE EYE ZOOMS-
Everyone assuming that if you put polar star on Ganyu, she’ll be wearing blizzard strayer. I run melt Ganyu with wander’s troupe. I have crit ratio of 45/203…I would have pulled for it if the 2nd weapon on banner wasn’t so shitty. That crit rate is OP, and the passive works…N, E, Charge Shot, E explosion…that’s 4 stacks.
I got it accidentally(btw Tartaglia is my main so im really happy about it) I wss saving for Hutao, i had 72 pulls ready And i did only 8 pulls on the weapon banner So i did one pull and got memory of dust And i decided to do a ten pull and got memory of dust again And i thought, that i need that bow And did another ten pull an got Polar star AND the Jade Spear My Tartaglia and future Hutao are happy;)
I believe for freeze ganyu mona is quite a bit better than kokomi, since she buffs with her q, but kokomi might be more comfortable to use since her e has a bit more range i believe and lasts way longer than monas e

I actually got it, Polar Star, spent money on it as well. like around 80$. my childe had 70-220 crit ratio because of polar star. i got hacked and my bow was gone. it hurt me so much lool
For these kind of weapons I wished I could see a icon + number on top of our HP bar (just like we are affected by a element) to see those actual stacks....instead of guessing.
@@tomoshi8515 Whats so hard to underdstand whats explained on the weapon. any from of attack (normal, charged, skill or burst) you gain a (unseen/unknown) stack for 12 sec. And each stack increases ATK% Perform a quick 4 normals attacks like Yoimiya, and now you got +48% ATK (at a 0 refined weapon)
Sad that people are saying Polar Star is Ganyu's Signature bow while Amos Bow literally has a horn-like thing on it which represents a Qilin. Polar Star is Childe's Signature Bow, he uses one in the first phase of his boss fight. In the boss fight, the feathers are more hydro infused but still it is the SAME BOW!!!!!
When I farm and need them immediately I just join a bunch of peoples worlds and ask if I can take specific resources. Usually takes a while to find people who let you join lmao but it’s worth to me since I’m too impatient to wait for them to respawn Yoimiya is great for farming spectors
With Ganyu's crit rate talent, it seems like the crit rate on the bow isn't really necessary, and even inferior to other weapon stats. I'd say this bow is really made for Childe specifically...

Nope, Ayaka's weapon is the Amenoma Kageuchi (cutscene wise) tho gameplay wise it's Midsplitter i guess.

In this context however, Moga referred to his Childe's total ATK as his "base" which Pyro Resonance does buff. Just to clear out any misunderstandings here.
It is absolutely Childe’s bow and it works really well for him. I’m a hybrid Childe/Zhongli main and this is, quite honestly, best in slot weapon for him. He also uses it in his boss fight and when you get the max stacks? Chef’s kiss. The full description on the bow also tailors to the Fatui, so LOL

amos will mostly always be the best bow for ganyu as the passive fits perfectly for ganyu's playstyle

Moga I like your content a lot, I like that you try to figure out the game instead of just reading guides, but if you want to showcase a character please understand their kit first. Childe is a really complex character, and you don't have to like him of course, but you have him at lvl80 with his bow.
1. Swap back to ranged mode after using him, or if course you're gonna have eternal cooldowns
2. His normal attacks in melee mode scale with his skill
3. Xiangling doesn't apply pyro fast enough for him ot vaporize, he's an enabler. You can only vape his ult, or with a very specific team (Kazuha, Bennett and Jean, called sunflower Childe)
4. His best roation is ranged ult, swap to melee and auto attack, melee ult if you have it. It will give you all the stacks.
5. He's a,azing at aoe. Killing a bunch of small enemies with him is super satisfying.
yeah, calling childe's 60k burst "not impressive" when it wasn't vaporized and he didn't even have 2pc hod rly killed me... childe is a very cool and fun character to play (if you like the playstyle ofc, not everyone does) and the least moga can do is not make childe look BAD in a showcase...
You make good points, but I don't think Mona is usually trying to demonstrate peak characters or top tier playstyles. Honestly, I think of him more like a Genshin vlogger, just sharing who he's building and what he's farming, doing the occasional silly challenge.

As someone who has every bow user in the game, I'm just glad I FINALLY have a freaking 5 star bow. Now, at the very least, all my characters have a bow of some sort that works for them, and Childe and Yoimiya don't need to flip flop on rust. This bow goes to child for me since yoimita doesn't get as much optimization from it as he does, my bursts can now actually do something compared to the pathetic 50-100 cr/cd ratio he had before

childe's bow looks so good on ganyu
It’s a very good bow on Childe because when you go into Melee Stance, Childe’s Normal and Charged Attacks are converted, so you don’t have to do that first basic arrow shot! You can get all stacks by being in Melee Stance! ^^

@@spki8656 The problem isn’t what he was expecting, it’s that he thinks Childe isn’t “impressive”, which could some people the wrong idea that he isn’t good. When in reality, you need to experiment with him a lot before you’re comfortable playing him.
Fun fact: They switched Childe's weapon from Skyward Harp to Polar Star in his story quest (So I guess it really is his canonical weapon)

If you use child on a vape team, the one who will proc the vape reaction isn't Childe but the pyro character, so running Childe on EM build wont work that well, the EM should be going to the pyro carry instead, just my opinion

Hi Moga! I'm actually a Ganyu main, and I use kokomi with her! She goes best with Kokomi as in my opinion for freeze. It does ultimate freeze all the time! I have some tips for ultimate freeze you could use maybe :)
So if you're using Ganyu with Kokomi, Do kokomi 'E' first. Then do Ganyu 'Q' Then switch to Kokomi and do her 'q'. If you do Kokomi's 'q' when her "Bake-Kurage" [the jellyfish] is already on the field, it refreshes its duration. So you get a longer freeze! :D I hope it helped :)
EM isn’t that great on Childe because he applies Hydro too fast for him to actually be the one triggering Elemental Reactions

Everyone assuming that if you put polar star on Ganyu, she’ll be wearing blizzard strayer. I run melt Ganyu with wander’s troupe. I have crit ratio of 45/203…I would have pulled for it if the 2nd weapon on banner wasn’t so shitty. That crit rate is OP, and the passive works…N, E, Charge Shot, E explosion…that’s 4 stacks.

It's better at R5 if you use characters for burst damage only. It sucks on other attacks like normal, charged, elemental, and plunge attacks.
It need you to use burst only, so it's not for anyone, and certainly not EULA!
Rust is the best fit for childe imo. Polar star also kinda looks nice because it contrasts his outfit

And each stack increases ATK%
Perform a quick 4 normals attacks like Yoimiya, and now you got +48% ATK (at a 0 refined weapon)

Polar Star is Childe's Signature Bow, he uses one in the first phase of his boss fight. In the boss fight, the feathers are more hydro infused but still it is the SAME BOW!!!!!

When I farm and need them immediately I just join a bunch of peoples worlds and ask if I can take specific resources. Usually takes a while to find people who let you join lmao but it’s worth to me since I’m too impatient to wait for them to respawn

With Ganyu's crit rate talent, it seems like the crit rate on the bow isn't really necessary, and even inferior to other weapon stats. I'd say this bow is really made for Childe specifically...
