For Romulus, I didn't care for most of the cast, but I can get past that, What bothered me most was the beat down of fan service. I was so frustrated by the end of this movie. From the uncanny valley CGI bringing back a character, the out of character lines that were simply pulled from previous films, to recycling the climax of Resurrection with the New Born (which I have hated for 26 years)...The constant recycling all pulled me out of this story. I was just depressed by the end of this, with the thought that all we have left is to recycle even the bad ideas.
Ya I don’t understand the hate for the ending of Romulus either… that literally creeped me out so much. The very first shot of it had my theater shocked.😅
As someone who hadn't seen previous Alien installments and came in blind to Romulus, the Ian Holm android character did not bother me in the slightest. Especially after I heard the director in an interview say they got approval from his family and Ridley Scott. I don't understand all the crying people have done about it, other than the CGI not being great.
Movie was ass. Why does everyone have an accent that far into the future? Why does the robot tell no one to shoot the aliens because their blood can eat through the ship than shoot one while jumping on it and the blood doesn’t even eat into the elevator? ( make the whole damn ship out of that!). Just wack screaming now real dread and not character development. Franchise is cooked
I find it funny Jeff D Lowe can’t call in for 45 fucking minutes
Them trivia questions don’t write themselves! Lol
The juice isn’t worth the squeeze 😢
