@@solarflare9078 probably because it was a rushed port and didn't take time for any optimization to adapt to the different hardware. I bet PB2 on Genesis was a build-from-ground-up project. Since NES already had a version of it, save time and money by just porting it over and improving.....almost nothing?

I got Paperboy 2 for SNES as my 2nd SNES game when I first received a Super Nintendo for Christmas. I had NO idea how superior the Genesis port was, I'm gonna check it out thanks to you guys.

Not a huge fan of 3, I actually prefer 1 and 2. But I do love the SMS version. Nobody ever talks about Shadow of The Ninja or Shinobi though. Ninja games rock!

I would say that the environments/castle/gothic houses should count as presentation instead of graphics. It's a Matter of being something to look at and experience (presentation), not how it looks (graphics).
