Here's a weird extra "tip" : you can use plague/hellhounds to slow down the zombies during holdout. It's especially useful on the big square room (I think on alpine). Get into the small storage room and they'll come to you in a straight line. Get stuck? Use frenzied/aether shroud.

drives me nuts playing public matches when people literally run straight to the objectives without getting setup and going down... i have to play solo now because i was so tired of it, i mean running straight the objectives past round 5 when everyone is setup is fine, but before that i wanna do the side easter eggs and not exfil round 1 or 2...

Cryo freeze is nice all around cause it buffs your damage against slowed targets. Napalm burst is kinda iffy to me haven’t tried it out since it’s tier V upgrade but the burn doesn’t seem super useful over dead wire, shatter blast, or brain rot. Napalm burst works well against manglers though :) Loadout Hauer will be your best friend for high rounds anything
It’s also super effective to have a vehicle when running canister objective. Makes it go by so much faster just driving away. The canister ticks the vehicles damage down a little bit but if you are smart it’s super easy
Tips for people like me who haven't really touched Zombies until now. 1. Rounds 1-4 should be ENTIRELY cleared, and the main objective done last. 2. Upgrade your gun with pack a punch before anything else. 3. Wait to find an armor level 1 in chests or off zombies, then use the blue salvage to upgrade to upgrade to level 3 armor first. After that, make sure you're upgrading your gun's tier on the same workbench. If you don't have a max level gun, you can use the green scrap to re-roll attachments, which will give you 6 attachments, and help you get a bigger clip mainly. Green salvage if plentiful. 3. Perks are important, but I would only worry about Staminup, tombstone, and quick revive, and if you're good at spacing, you don't even have to spend points on any perks, they drop in side objectives/gold chests/very rare chance on mobs/elites. 4. The explosive rounds are wayyyy better early on than the other 2. Heavies start to spawn in round 4, but plentiful round 5. They will eat clips if you don't have this. 5. By the start of round 5, you should have a triple pack a punch main weapon with rounds, level 3 armor, and that gun should be epic or legendary. By the end of round 5, that main weapon should be legendary. You won't get further without farming as much as possible. 6. Jump pads cost 500, but if you learn how to parachute well, you can get that money back, or 1500 max more. There are 3-4 crytals lined up directly in front of the computer on each jump pad. Some trajectories will curve though after the first. 7. In early rounds, unless you're absolutely drained of ammunition, DO NOT buy ammo. It drops like crazy in this mode. 8. Spacing and kiting is much easier in this mode early on. Start with a high clip/good range gun and farm headshots/longshots for extra points. If you get overwhelmed by elites, run to a jump pad and fly to a safe zone for enough away and they will reset (they won't follow you to the other side of the map. 9. Until you're good, the dragon side quest is basically a pointless death trap by round 4. The elites don't like to get in the circle, so if you just want to farm points, hit the computer and run away. You won't get that sweet golden chest unless you're really good. Trust me. 10. Always keep an escape vehicle close enough to run to, but out of the enemies' line of fire. Always think about hoe you are going to approach mobs. Killing the dogs first will save your run. 11. Exfil round 4 or 5 until you get stuff upgraded with crystals. I highly recommend upgrading juggernog and quick revive FIRST, or tombstone after juggernog. Those 3 are the best survivability-wise. 12. When you exfil, chopper gunner is the easiest way to get out both solo and groups. Just get in a car, get as close to the red smoke (marker) as you can, jump out of the car, hit chopper, and go to town (make sure you are actually aiming at the mobs bear the smoke and not wasting the ammo. Make sure your teammates are clearing some mobs as well or the time will run out. The moment it says 0 left to kill, have someone ready to hit x. 10. The best attachments for your gun are the suppressors that increase salvage and the flashlights/lasers that increase it as well. Then the big clips, then probably bullet velocity. Sidenote: even if you are multi-player guy, this is the best mode to level your gun, level your battle pass, and unlock skins/reticles at the moment. I'm already almost done with battle pass.
@@JRP02 if you have a ray gun everything dies at all difficulties, the only boss you don't want to be close to is a mimic, therefor having his counter on the Hauer is useless,
At least it’s one less special zombie to deal with. I almost consider it a random instakill on a special zombie. That being said, I don’t really use brain rot myself, but having its tier IV for elemental pop is nice.
Random tip I've found out on my own, Frenzied Guard can work basically exactly like PHD Flopper! The armour instead of health thing not only applies to zombie hits but also self explosive damage, pair that with the tier upgrade where u get armour back for kills and then shoot at the ground any explosive gun and it's like PHD. Seriously underused method. Chopper you NEED to try this.
I havent even upgraded the ammo mods at all. I need to play a lot more, but I find it so tiring. I can only play like one game a day then I'm done. I wish I was better at playing. Videos like this help though. Btw this game footage looks insane.
@@FUNNYMANERICWHITE can be quick if people stay together and use the cars/jeeps don't run around looting everything looking for boxes ect it drags the first few rounds out and takes to long to get going get a car go straight to the side qs complete them and move on once all side qs are done do the main q go next round by round 4 or 5 you should be good to go off quests alone then you just do the main q each round.. we do normally grab the reward quest the first few rounds and if we get the take dame and recover health quest we will stop at the reward machine grab a zombie each and do that quest you can all get 3 legendary rewards each from that quest in the 5 min any of the other quests we just carry on as normal they slow tou down to much it helps having 3 friends that play regularly random groups are mostly terrible and unless in a private match I seem to get a lot of disconnections

4:45 always use a car for this step. it will damage the vehicle over time. You can use the vehicle at least 3-4 time as long you don't run over the zombies. If done right you can use the same vehicle for both.

Another pro-tip: For the Holdout quests, use the triple packed Rai-K, and only use the alternate fire (the cannon) for the entire lockdown, dont worry about killing anything, things will die when they've been damaged enough. Just run around the respected houses and fire the Rai-K. This works really well for solo.
Rei K is best wonder weapon in Outbreak in my opinion especially in those lockdown steps because you just have to survive and not kill so you can use the alternate fire to slow down all the zombies making the whole process a lot easier

Cryofreeze is a good aat for the hour as it can slow special zombies and allow you to annihilate tempests. It got buffed and activated pretty much constantly

Tip, in early rounds, you can surround the specimen analyzer with toxic growths and get far away. After the first wave are destroyed by it, zombies quit attacking it, if know one is around.
Quick question now this might sound dumb but when you pack a punch a gun you get a ammo mod right so what’s the point in getting elemental pop? Does it add another ammo mod so you have two ammo mods??
Small Tip: The Soldats are weak to frost ammo mod and shatter blast but you can get the headshot damage with frost but not with the shatter blast as the head is no longer armored when you can headshot him so you lose the extra damage
Gotten to Level 21 Solo. Could have gone higher but my internet went and got disconnected which is unfortunate. Holdout is by far the hardest objective on high levels whether its solo or with a team.
Not true, your first 3 perks maintain through the decay meter. I used to get juggernog and quick revive first then elemental pop for fast proc damage, but with tier 5 perks, juggernog is still a prime first followed by staminup, then quick revive. Finish with the rest in any order. You can self revive 3 times if played in proper order. Tombstone first because you'll still have revive since it's in your first 3. Quick revive for second self revive because of tier 5. Then a self revive support as a last resort. Perk order IS important, it saves lives.
Thanks for the tips. I noticed that you did not have Stamina in the first 3 in the video? I usually do Jug, Stamina and quick revive first so I can keep them if I go down.
New Subscriber here. How do you keep the game from kicking you out all the time? I play on an Xbox Series X and never have much trouble with Warzone or Modern Warfare compared to Zombies. Sometimes I make it 1 round, sometimes 4-5 and get booted out. Disconnected from server or Xbox live or something. I think I might try to play it on my One X and see if it's any better.
Solo running the canister is an absolute joke 4 hours just to get to world tier 8 and then killed 3 times in a row because of that bs. outbreak is actually the biggest waste of my life ever and I’ve played zombies for ten years

Ngl I use the Streetsweeper packed and upgraded and a rayk for the holdouts the Streetsweeper is pretty strong when you have it set up good, I'm a fan of it (note that I haven't made it to round 10 cause I never have enough time to make it that far, so early game Streetsweeper is strong)
I can't believe how bad the mode can he playing with randos with no mics. It almost requires 🎙️ teammates. Your first tip should have been don't play with randos without mics.
The canister retrieval objective is by far the easiest challenge. Just hop in a vehicle and complete it in like 1 minute. Driving with the canister will slowly damage your vehicle tho so be careful, you dont want it to explode on you lol
I have a tip. Do your trials in the first 2 or 3 stages. You should be able to get a special weapon. Also, don’t waste your money buying all the perks (maybe just jugg) , just play side missions to get them free
And now of course deadwire had the absolute shit nerfed out of it. Treyarch wants people to go slow through the battle pass so they can't reach a high tier and get the next pass free.
If you start the HVT event before completing the main objective for that stage, it kills the HVT and drops the random perk. Just make sure you're near the HVT when it dies.
Outbreak keeps crashing on round 3!! Anyone else aware of the game crashing?? Really enjoy outbreak but it's not fun when 2 hours of play gets pissed down the drain
They could just be trying to complete the small challenge for the event. I forgot how many times you have to exfil, but they could still just hop on a solo run and exfil round 1 if that's what they are trying to do. So I agree, hate that also

Just drive the canister does damage as your driving so make sure you bring all vehicles close to spot A and B and the actual place where you place the canisters

You don’t need to after round 1 you get PackApunch, round 2 at our and few perks by round 3 and four you are pretty much all set

The best tip I learned from watching another player is keeping a car close on the retrieval missions. Makes it a breeze in solo.

At the bottom ski lift on alpine, if you get ontop you'll find a cryofreeze canister. Idk what it does when you pick it up

Another pro-tip: For the Holdout quests, use the triple packed Rai-K, and only use the alternate fire (the cannon) for the entire lockdown, dont worry about killing anything, things will die when they've been damaged enough. Just run around the respected houses and fire the Rai-K. This works really well for solo.
Rei K is best wonder weapon in Outbreak in my opinion especially in those lockdown steps because you just have to survive and not kill so you can use the alternate fire to slow down all the zombies making the whole process a lot easier

Yep! Treyarch released a patch yesterday for it, went in game to try it and it’s fixed.
I tried to do a high round on die machine today and dead wire is so nuts. I love it. It’s also good against the mettatons.
If you build up a nice train, you can wipe out half of the round with just one bullet!

Cryofreeze is a good aat for the hour as it can slow special zombies and allow you to annihilate tempests. It got buffed and activated pretty much constantly

Tip, in early rounds, you can surround the specimen analyzer with toxic growths and get far away. After the first wave are destroyed by it, zombies quit attacking it, if know one is around.

M16 is a viable option if you have it maxed out & Legendary, but puck the right attachments for it. *(shatter blast/dead wire melts with M16)
Quick question now this might sound dumb but when you pack a punch a gun you get a ammo mod right so what’s the point in getting elemental pop? Does it add another ammo mod so you have two ammo mods??
elemental pop has a chance to activate any ammo mod so put one you like the most on your gun and then elemental pop as just a way to have everything
Maybe go over each challenge and what the best loadput to use for it(percs,ammo mods,ect)

Small Tip: The Soldats are weak to frost ammo mod and shatter blast but you can get the headshot damage with frost but not with the shatter blast as the head is no longer armored when you can headshot him so you lose the extra damage

Gotten to Level 21 Solo. Could have gone higher but my internet went and got disconnected which is unfortunate. Holdout is by far the hardest objective on high levels whether its solo or with a team.
Doesn't matter what order you buy your perks in, at least on PS4 :(
Not true, your first 3 perks maintain through the decay meter. I used to get juggernog and quick revive first then elemental pop for fast proc damage, but with tier 5 perks, juggernog is still a prime first followed by staminup, then quick revive. Finish with the rest in any order. You can self revive 3 times if played in proper order. Tombstone first because you'll still have revive since it's in your first 3. Quick revive for second self revive because of tier 5. Then a self revive support as a last resort. Perk order IS important, it saves lives.

New Subscriber here. How do you keep the game from kicking you out all the time? I play on an Xbox Series X and never have much trouble with Warzone or Modern Warfare compared to Zombies. Sometimes I make it 1 round, sometimes 4-5 and get booted out. Disconnected from server or Xbox live or something. I think I might try to play it on my One X and see if it's any better.

Solo running the canister is an absolute joke 4 hours just to get to world tier 8 and then killed 3 times in a row because of that bs. outbreak is actually the biggest waste of my life ever and I’ve played zombies for ten years

Ngl I use the Streetsweeper packed and upgraded and a rayk for the holdouts the Streetsweeper is pretty strong when you have it set up good, I'm a fan of it (note that I haven't made it to round 10 cause I never have enough time to make it that far, so early game Streetsweeper is strong)
You can mantle on the cabinets in the holdout area in one of the Side rooms. Shooting a Rai-K down there slowing down the zombies.

I can't believe how bad the mode can he playing with randos with no mics. It almost requires 🎙️ teammates. Your first tip should have been don't play with randos without mics.
The canister retrieval objective is by far the easiest challenge. Just hop in a vehicle and complete it in like 1 minute. Driving with the canister will slowly damage your vehicle tho so be careful, you dont want it to explode on you lol

there is only raygun, rayk and die (die weapon sucks in outbreak) wonder weapon on outbreak there isn't a new weapon for that mode
Pro tip, megaton, small room, semtex parade.
I have a tip. Do your trials in the first 2 or 3 stages. You should be able to get a special weapon. Also, don’t waste your money buying all the perks (maybe just jugg) , just play side missions to get them free
By round 6 you have get all the perks and have 100k without doing the side missions. Money is no issue in this game.
And now of course deadwire had the absolute shit nerfed out of it. Treyarch wants people to go slow through the battle pass so they can't reach a high tier and get the next pass free.
Tip, shatter blast is now even better than deadwire.
The only thing that sucks about brain rot, is if it turns the last hound on the dog wave, you don’t get the max ammo 😂
If you start the HVT event before completing the main objective for that stage, it kills the HVT and drops the random perk.
Just make sure you're near the HVT when it dies.

I've never gone past level 6. It always crashes at level 7
I hate people that exfil and especaily when they do it on round 1
They could just be trying to complete the small challenge for the event. I forgot how many times you have to exfil, but they could still just hop on a solo run and exfil round 1 if that's what they are trying to do. So I agree, hate that also

The canister has it's own skill. Causes a big shockwave.
Just drive the canister does damage as your driving so make sure you bring all vehicles close to spot A and B and the actual place where you place the canisters
