Winter Road Trip - Vegas to Seattle

Death Valley, Mammoth Lakes, Lake Tahoe, Hot springs, Crater Lake and a whole lot more......
In December 2022 I collected an old Land Rover Defender from a good friend in Las Vegas that I had bought back after selling into him 4 years earlier. This made for the perfect reason to do a cool Overland trip across Death Valley and up the Sierra Nevada mountains, through the National forests, the High Desert and up into the PNW.
I knew that the time of year could mean snow storms, road closures and possible re-routes of 100's of miles... so i planned for the worst... and got the absolute best - a break in the weather and a complete beautiful week of crystal blue skies and sun... it was still pretty darn cold though, as you would expect..
