Is it possible to go about it it like a saxophone with a swab?? So use a small-ish cloth tied to string and a tiny weight to be able to pull the cloth all the way through.
i got alot of experience cleaning "hunting equipment" its better to use a little square of material and a split rag holder (like the one in the video) and not a long piece of cloth. most people dont get how thin brass instruments are and can make alot of damage forcing a too-big piece in.

I guess you could do that although I have never heard of anyone trying it.
The cloth and rod are stuck in my trombone, it went in fine but won't come out.
use something to push it out or blow air into the slide
