Prophet Muhammad s.a.w did fast on Monday as remembrance of his birth. Thus, the best way to celebrate our birth is by fasting. Bidaah is not a legal ruling under the rule of usul fiqh. Thus, the legal ruling is either wajib, sunnah, mandub, makruh or haram. Under the school of Shafiiyyah, any new things will be analysed under wajib, sunnah, mandub, makruh or haram. Since Prophet Muhammad s.a.w did fast to remember his birth, many jurists classical or modern permit the celebration of Prophet Muhammad's birth.

    A wise was once said
The next point that is important for us to realise is The issue of innovation(BIDI'A) a person feels they know more than the messenger (peace be upon him).
The messenger (peace be upon be him)
was sent to us in order to teach us how to worship Allah. That was the reason why he was sent. He was sent to teach us how the Almighty wants to be worshipped, so if anyone comes with an act of worship that was not taught by the Prophet (peace be upon him) he has directly insulted the messenger and also has insulted ALLAH Subhana wa Ta'ala.
The reason is....what was the point of sending us a messenger? To teach us how to worship ALLAH! When we think we know better than him???? a'udhubillah May ALLAH protect us.

I have a question, I’m new to Islam and currently learning how to read the Arabic alphabet, so my questions is, is it wrong or haram to do mawlid Nabi?
I mean people say mawlid nabi they just do dzikir in congregations and in praising our beloved Prophet Muhammad ( Peace and blessing of Allah be upon him ), they’re not having cakes or make a decoration out of the prophet pictures. So by having this intention, is it wrong or haram in Islam?

    • @Hikmah1995
      @Hikmah1995 5 лет назад +19

Kakkarot Red Wrong, because the Prophet Salalahu Alayhi Wa Salam never did it or told us to do it.
We fast on Monday’s, and Thursdays. We also make dua for the Prophet Salalahu Alayhi Wa Salam asking Allah Subhana Wa Tala to always bless him. We’re not even supposed to celebrate our own bdays.

It is an innovation in our deen and so those who practice it while knowing the Prophet Muhammad sallalahu aleyhi was sallam never did it are consequently saying that out deen was not perfected, which goes against the Qur'an. One day its celebration of a prophet's birthday the next they're worshipping a Prophet. Thats why it is clearly forbidden

May Allah swt bless you. And Allah has guuded you to the religion of Islam Alhamdulillah.
Listen to the video akhi you will understand.
A new muslim normally hasn't been exposed to the sects yet. One bit of advice, stick to the sources Shamsi uses because his teachers have been praised by the Big Big Scholars.
We are here on this earth to worship Allah swt, not in the way we want but the way Allah swt wants. There isn't anything we can come up with from our intellect that can get us closer to Allah swt more than practicing the Islam that the prophet pbuh was sent with.
Beware of the sects, akhi we have grave worshippers in this ummah, people that do shirk abd bid'ah. Learn what is shirk and what is bid'ah that way you can stay away from it because it is all misguidance.

Kakkarot Red Bukhāri (2697) and Muslim (1718) reported that A’ishah said that Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:
      مَنْ أَحْدَثَ فِي أَمْرِنَا هَذَا مَا لَيْسَ مِنْهُ فَهُوَ رَدٌّ
“Whoever introduces something into this affair of ours (i.e. Islam) that which is not from it will have it rejected.”
So every action in the religion you do it has to have two conditions you have to have the intention first then the second is in accordance with the sunnah of the prophet peace be upon ,.. hope it’s clear to you now brother and this is the link for further detail about this topic www.abukhadeejah.com/prophet-birthday-eid-milad/
