I purchased the AquaQest Safari 10x10. Half the weight 1.6 lbs vs the defender at 3.3 lbs, same material, different treatment - Non-toxic dual Silicone & PU coating vs Heavy TPU coating. Same number ties - 19 in the same locations.

I have 2 of the 10x13 Aqua Quest King Camos. They are truly well made and a great camping investment that will last years my Friend SMM. A bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for & I would certainly recommend this tarp.⛺🏕

Looks like you got a good buy. I have seen lighter tarps but they look flimsy in comparison, so the slight extra weight would be no problem for me. Hope to see you out in the woods will it ASAP! Cheers Alan
Well brother great video and it seems to be a really great tarp and i like it because it is Heavy duty and i like it when it is in camo i will buy a camo tarp too when i can afford it. I have a tarp my self and it is a DD XL tarp 4,5 X 3 meters and it weight is 1020 g. And that tarp is a good one and lightweight and it is in OD green.
I hate to break this to you, but if you buy AQ tarps from AQ directly, you get a LIFETIME WARRANTY, not a 2yr warranty. if you bought it from a retail outlet....... well..... you got screwed. AQUA QUEST WARRANTY DEPT
I bought this from Aqua Quest, back when I bought it, it was a two year warranty from them at that time. Good to see they offer a lifetime warranty now.

Its amazing how a person (myself) can get so excited about a tarp...lol. but tarps are shelter...and can save your life I guess....great video...

Greg Williams yep, it’s the exact same tarp, except the Defender is double coated, other than that, it’s the exact same thing.
Man them aqua quest tarps are awesome. Heard they can with stand alot of heavy weather. Pretty penny for them but I know they gotta be worth it.
