Who watches this just after the 2019 World Championship?
Finally she did it. Even though she said that it's also not important, I think she said that it's because of many years of losses in the World Championships. But I think that Liu Guoliang and the CNT especially Ma Lin motivates her to still fight back. It's still not over. And now finally she became a World Champion after 10 years. She truly deserve it. I'm already a fan of her since very then and I'm very proud of her. CONGRATULATIONS LIU SHIWEN THE WORLD CHAMPION!

Lui SW is in fact mature enough to express her view on table tennis from the bottom of her heart although her life style is restricted for intensive training. Let them to visit other countries with national expanse to be more creative and to gain more problem solving skill. It is the first time I am aware how she is so empathy and sympathy to injured Ding Ning that she thinks it was caused by her in her thoughts of very simple and sincere heart. Rich China should spend more money on very famous national athletes for more social exposure to the World by reward. Table tennis, Chinese national game prize money is very low compared to tennis. I guess that :Soccer is UK national game. Boxing or golf or basketball is USA national game. She , Liu can speak well to the public but one said she can not sing well. It might be that she is shy and humble. Be aggressive like all very smart Japanese and Korean Teams. Or they will play the mental game on you. Cheer liu sw . Let us view you in coming Olympics. Yes. Winning and losing is not important for you now . Just show your skill and beautiful heart. From here, I admire Ma lin is magic, Tim boll , creative. Ma lone , king of table tennis, Xu Xin aggressive, Feng CT , creative and aggressive, ito , strong mind, aggressive and creative, small Sun X , amazing, Wang MY and Chen meng are determined and aggressive,, Ding Ning, strong mind , Chui YL, stable and intelligent and Chen Xitong, future star, many Korean players are creative and aggressive and Caucasian players are strong, aggressive and creative. There are many Chinese male players and very young Taiwanese male player to be future rising stars. I can not recall their names. Please, beat small body build Chinese players for creating more exciting table tennis. One makes lovely remark on beautiful Lui SW, small human body gains world champion title in 2019.
Well you can see how mature she is so I hope the Chinese find ways to integrate her into their team after she stops playing if that's what she wants.
Lui SW should consider Ma Lin as a coach because of his creative and magic player in the world. No-one can match him. Ma Lin wax statue should be made now. I never get bored in viewing his competition.

Nice fit and curvy body too. :D But I have not forgotten she's also one of the best players to ever play the game (fast, close to the table style and very powerful, particularly her backhand). I came back for this video after an amazing year for Liu Shiwen (2019), a lots of updates are needed for her achievement slide!

Lui SW is the only dancing queen of table tennis because of her dancing style in her every table tennis competitions. Her dancing style is unique I appreciate the most. She plays near the table mostly with amazing and wonderful skill. She should try to become a singer as the same time now because of her lovely appearance and lovely nature of her voice. Then, all her supporters and fans will remember her forever before and after retirement. China should take proud of her talent and thank to her mother. In the incidence of the Ding Ning's injury while in final important competition with Ding Ning ( see video footage lui talked about), I believe Lui SW is in puzzle how to behave to go to console or to concern the opponent. Some will critize her not being caring the injured opponent. From my view point, Lui SW is so simple that she could not change her mind quickly to go to help or ask her opponent to express her sympathy and empathy to Ding Ning. Lui SW is confused and fear in this situation because of her dominance of shyness in her mind. In this competition, Lui SW PLAYED VERY WELL and is far far better than Ding Ning with having winning scores ahead. Ding Ning should surrender as she takes too long to receiving treatment because of apparent seriousness. The Umpire should suggest Ding Ning for surrender in fairness, like a boxing competition because it will affect the Lui SW's mentality. It will also affect Ding Ning's future for apparent serious injury as well. Lui might think Ding Ning's injury is part of her attack. But, Ding Ning played energetically to win Lui after apparent serious injury. Why? Lui SW might think injured Ding Ning is no longer her opponent any more for the continuation of the match between them as they might be long good friends all along in training camp. I feel in that way for my serious injured friend to whom I have to attack. Lui SW is a great attacker in her playing style. The best in Ding Ning is her strong mentality apart from her skill and one deathly serve. The deadly serve could not affect Lui SW but most opponents. Anyway, as a singer with natural shyness , simple minded and beauty, Lui SW will be successful on the stage while singing. I wish her forever success for both herself and China in future. Please, don't mind whether she loss or win for coming competitions. From my suggestion, Shy Lui SW should have her own coach she likes in her coming important competitions for the sake of having strong mentality. Lui SW has done a lot for herself and her country, China. I hope Lui SW and Ma lone should be made of wax stature for the China success. They both are as famous as Hollywood stars. She can sing in English in future for more international recognition. China is great because of Lui SW.

@Yu wen yes, you are right in some ways about lui sw singing voice because she is too shy to express her feelings strongly, loudly and emotionally.. She needs singing coach . She will definitely be successful to be famous singer because she has learning skill and brain at best. The other best is her nature of voice she has. 2 years to the end of the career of one of the best and most gracious players to ever grace the sport, and ITTF is just making an off the table video about Liu Shiwen, How does that show awareness and passion for the her and many other athletes that should have had theirs done, Ma Long, Zhang Jike and Ding Ning are so favored and have had theirs made since 2015.
I'm sure she was rushed into it, or it was impromptu, And who really cares this days, People already know more about her through forums and the internet generally than ITTF media will ever know and shamefully make and advertise their public releases.

Lui SW needs proper psychological support, new strategy in competition and the coach she likes during competition. She might be strictly confined in training camp since very young so she might need quick resilience in her strategy and aggressiveness during competition in order to be success. Din Ning and Ma long are the strongest personality in competition. Because they very much enjoy in all competitions if lose or not.
Just love her the way she is.

Huge fan. Love her. Very happy she finally won the big prize. But if I may say this, I don’t buy her comments re why she acted the way she did when Ding Ming was injured. The first time I saw that video I was puzzled as to why she didn’t go to her teammates side after she fell. She never went to Ning to check on her or give her support. Not a good gesture on her part. Showed a coldness or maybe a dislike on Lou’s part toward Ding. Not good sportsmanship. From that moment on I wondered if that was just Liu’s personality or a general coldness of all Chinese players. As a group they don’t seem to be really enjoy playing. In contrast the Japanese players seem much warmer and happier.
She already said it was the first time happened to her, she didn't know what suppose to do, anyway DN is a good actress, she took 15 minutes to rest, the rule is not more than 5 minutes, she should call the game, when she came back, she just played normal, what a BS.
