saw blood orange play at Hyde Park yesterday in London. I’ve liked the band for a while but oh my god..they blew me away. Go see them live, they are so amazing. Surprise of the day for sure.
Slow, buoyant synthesizers frame this powerful introspection. It’s an age-old error, darker skin being inferior and even evil. Blood Orange’s “Jewelry” has those commonly-adored and valuable metals, platinum and gold, juxtaposed with that which is traditionally hated. Funny how a shiny rock found in a cave can somehow illuminate something priceless and unattainable. When they say you can’t, don’t conform. Blind them with success, flaunt, go live.
Gosh, I love this song. I love how my favorite blood orange songs are like the feeling of going and getting home; it's always there and you can depend on it.
This is 3 songs in one….. this is a masterpiece of art. The synths with the saxophone is immaculate in the intro. Then he drop the beat and start spittin!!! Then merges both synth sax AND upbeat tempo 😵💫😵💫 captivates it all in the end with a great guitar…great vocals…. DAMn🗿….. 1 time for help.
This song... I'm so glad I discovered you like two weeks ago. I'm always searching for that artist, group, album or song that really HITS me in a way other things can't, and this is definitely it. Beautiful work, beautiful video, beautiful song, everything. There isn't many songs that make me cry, but damn.
I only got to know about blood orange this week 3rd April 2023 . I missed a lot . This video is beautiful by the way n listening to this in my SONY XHM4s is out of this world .
My interpretation of this song has made sense. It’s almost boring to explain because you don’t know me but the song writing I find from this song is about life progression. Once upon a time I felt like I was down in the dumps, hoping for more. I was a drug addict but the sun never dimmed, I never enjoyed the way I was living, a dream never left my side, I was always hopeful for better then what I was grown up in, it felt like at some stage the door started to close from how society was putting pressure on me, so I stayed indoors making nothing better of myself but at this point in time I destroyed it. I now have a beautiful home, 4 chickens, happy mindset, great girlfriend & a new Range Rover. Jewellery.
First time Tripping on some tab and listening to this song it has so much intense impact on me just sitting listen to this over and over till sunrise. The Most beautiful dawn I ever seen
Stupid comment. Anyways to answer, go back to the 70's where music wasn't about race, but making the best music out of diffeent backgrounds. You had blacks, asians, latin music and whites making jazz and rock, not one thing in common between them but their knowledge and passion for music. That was the best music made, the one that stems from passion regardless race
The fact that more people, regardless of race, are making music is all that I care about. Race has nothing to do with it, but more minorities are getting recognition. Music is not a race, it's a spiritual movement for all!
I don’t remember anything from his set list:( but now I’m in loveeeee with his music and I really regret not getting into his music more before going to the concert
A dream never leaving my sight A sun never leaving my side Resonated with me on a different level Then I really felt when he said still proud best of my abilities but still i think about an exit This song bro is just pulls those emotional strings man it’s definitely something special
Man I just read Janet Mock was transgender damn she nice, she said was a girl born in a man's body that's deep bruh she smart and doing it her way all way
damn this song makes me so moved!!! I just want to cry when janet mock stars and I just want to cry again with the "nigga I'm feeling my self" DEV I LOVE YOU
this song makes me feel like i can proudly take up space in this world

Saw the band yesterday in Paris, and it's true this man is really a good musician/artist
Harry Leighton saw them at the IGOR tour in Greensboro amazing!
I saw them at Camp Flog Gnaw 2019 and it was amazing.
Everything here comes together so effortlessly and the beauty is overwhelming.
The amount of emotion and expression he can deliver with a 4 minute song is something I truly look up to. Masterful ✨

negro swan >>> angel's pulse
Negro swan = Angels purse
They’re both equally beautiful and work well together!
That’s a warm take, you should give the new mixtape a chance. Very overlooked imo
@@MNIMnoob don't get me wrong angel's pulse has great songs too but i think negro swan is a more cohesive project
@@marioski that's because angels pulse is a mixtape lol not an album it's just tracks compiled together

Not to sound racist or whatever, Blacks got the best music in the world. Who says otherwise?
first of all this is a weird ass comment, second of all, im not trying to start a race war but this is not true at all lmao
