In addition, much like jazz bossa nova has standard pieces that are performed by many different artists, so even though there may be a lot of music out there, theres a select amount of songs that you can expect to hear from any bossa nova artist.

This music brings back memories of a summertime stroll 30 years ago through the business heart of my city - Toronto. It was clean, colourful, soothing, affordable, so many living cultures from all over the planet intertwined, an urban nursery to be born into. So many shops, restaurants, museums, beautiful buildings and architecture, all safe and inviting. It was a final destination on life's journey where one could work and live in but with adventure.
I absolutely love this playlist of smooth New York-inspired Bossa Nova jazz. It's perfect for listening to in a cafe while studying, relaxing, or even just winding down at home. The lack of mid-roll ads is definitely a plus too!
