I remember the first time I went for an aqua hike. Not much out there that’s more relaxing and helps the old thinker recuperate. Killer video man and loved the announcement for bloodstone. Dope as flippin frogs!
Thank you my dude. Can’t agree more regarding those brisk, autumn aqua hikes. I know snorkeling and scuba diving are all the rage these days but there’s nothing like your feet sinking into the lake bed as you trudge through a a serene, seaweed forest. Those damn leeches were out though. The B L O O D S T O N E announcement is paying tribute to Dialed In’s video on the trail from last year. He didn’t have to set his foot down once on Bloodstone immediately AFTER riding El Jefe. If you ever make it up to Tioga I can assure you that combination relies heavily on proper use of power generated by the frog leg technique. Yo frawg what’s up with the additional Duluth footage? There’s a lot of unrest in the YT mtb community over its absence. Legalize tombstone floaters and bring rock slabs to the people!
@@ElTerrible2011 The world needs more tombstone floaters (not actual tombstones) and WAY MORE ROCK SLABS. It'll be coming out man! Next up is DM and B.O.B. because well its super easy to edit since its all striaght full pull POV haha. Frog leg is the only technique that matters.
You get a sub just for that opening shot 😂 very unexpected. The riding was pretty sick too. So many sick looking jumps out on this trail. Really nice work man
Thanks man. Glad someone enjoyed the stupidity of my opening shot lol. Yeah man this place is fun as hell, waaaaay up there as far as Minnesotan trails are concerned.
I was going to head up there last weekend but woke up with vertigo. It passed by the afternoon but the day was gone. With the weather turning, I'll probably have to wait till next year.
Well done again bud! Really enjoyed this one. Also it’s the perfect length. This made me realize I never did anything with my bloodstone footage. Nice job on that rock roll thing, it’s pretty big. You guys sent it! 🤙🏻
I’m picking up what you’re putting down my dude. Always got a kick out of your mellow vibes during your “Tioga Recreational, send it!” intros. Mystery solved. Truth be told though I’m straight laced these days, borderline a square even. Also, I definitely need to be on my game considering I’m learning to jump on the wrong side of 30. Late b(l)oomer, man. I was on one in my delinquent skateboarding and Army days though. As far as sending it my goal was to clean Minneflowta. Was not expecting Thrillseeker and especially those jumps on Hockey Hair to get checked off. The Bloodstone rock roll thing was in my wheelhouse for whatever reason, I guess doing the log stockade at Bertram made it look kinda welcoming by comparison. How about that Tucker kid just skipping out on the landing entirely? That was gully af.
@@ElTerrible2011 haha I hear ya man, I’m pretty straight laced too these days. Congrats on clearing all that buddy! 🤙🏻 Also how nice is that lake?! I took a dip in there everyday after work 👌🏻
@@ridindirt When in the Iron Range or on the shores of Superior it’s tradition to hit the lake post-ride. Really revitalizing. Where are you and the Pathfinder crew at? Still at Giants or, if you ain’t seasonal, are you gearing up for deployment elsewhere in the lower 48? btw Jeremy and I saw the Pathfinder Playground, but we DIDN’T poach. On everything. From what I saw that looked even cooler in person. GREAT work on that one man. Hope the job feels rewarding because you just made a lot of people’s, especially kid’s, dreams come true with that one assuming it ever opens.
@@ElTerrible2011 sick, thanks dude! Yeah we’re pretty proud of that but definitely bummed they haven’t opened it yet. We are working in Minnetonka right now. Trying to beat the weather there. Will head to Iowa after and then I’ll have a few months off to travel and rest up for next year 🤙🏻
Hey man I’m on vacation and took my sweet time. Found a nice submerged log, pulled out the binaqualars and did some fish watching (don’t worry man, had some Sturgeon Spray™️ w/ me just in case one got aggro). On the real though probably like 10-15 seconds tops, obviously not long enough to get those damn ripples to disappear which were probably a dead give away. The thing that got me was fighting that helmet which doubles as a flotation device. You have to constantly swim downward to ensure you’re at the bottom. Still kicking myself I forgot to grab my shades. Would have made a dumb opener even dumber. Be warned though, the water’s pretty chilly. Can’t wait ‘til your Redhead vids man. Hopefully the lighting was good as that place is gorgeous.
Beautiful landscapes! Loved it, nice video! Thx for share it

Love the video! Fun intro. The trails look sick. The rock work was incredible!
Thanks man. Truly a cold open for this vid. The rock work on Bloodstone is stuff of legend. Glad you enjoyed it.

Nice video guys! How long did you have to spend underwater to get that first shot? hahaha

Cool edit MAte! The autumn leaves make it look even more awesome. :D
Thanks man. 🍂🍁Fall is the best time to ride here🍁🍂
BLOOD STONE 🤣
Such an extreme sounding name 😂
