Love the way you summed up gardening! In spring there is "Always something to celebrate and always something to mourn and plenty to do"! I'm 77 and have been gardening for 55 years. Each year is becoming more of a struggle and I go out and try to be a skilled gardener and make the needed adjustments and do all the other work. Yes, there is always plenty to do. It is a act of love!
Thanks so much for all the work you put into your family , the house , the garden , the earth and our souls. Because of this, the ripple effect is in full bloom and I can’t wait to get out there and get to it . Thanks for being a blessing 🕊️ 🌱 🌎 🧹 🫖 ☕️ 🏡 🌹 🐝 🥩 🥧
I’ve been watching you from the beginning, and I still don’t know how you do it! Home schooling 6 children, interior design, gardening, painting, and on and on. You’re amazing! I’m inspired and intimidated all at the same time. 😂
It is a workout! At 75 now, I have to use my walker so I don't trip in the garden. I do what I can and my granddaughter and daughter sometimes help. I LOVE geraniums, have many, and especially the scented ones! I have mint, chocolate, rose, lemon, lime and I want Earl Grey.
Beautiful!! Celebrate that’s a very good word to describe the beauty in the spring. I’m in the middle of all my lovely peonies here in SE Pennsylvania . Your about where my sister is in NW Montana.I also mourn when trees die and have had to say goodbye to several.
Even with the disappointments, your garden is still amazing. The view down to the garden.....it looks just like the French Gardens...breathtaking beautiful!
Angela. Thank you. I've been watching you since the beginning. Thank you for being a wonderful inspiration. Your garden is amazing. Sending you love and hugs.
I liked that you gave me a new perspective on the garden. What to celebrate, what to mourn. Isn’t that just the way of the garden? I wouldn’t give it up for anything.
🌹I've told u before n I will say it again ur garden is gorgeous , it's just beautiful , I would sit outside at ur place everyday it's so calming n peaceful I bet !! Lucky you...💕👍
Oh gosh, Angela I had no idea tilling is such hard labor! When I was younger, the worst chores we ever had was to pull the overgrown grass out of the hurricane fence between our yard and our neighbor's! I deemed it worst than washing dishes or cleaning toilets! I was so turned off for years about outside yardwork that I didn't begin my garden until 24 years after moving into our newly constructed home! True story. But I do admire and love your content so you keep me motivated!
The yard I can Only dream of. I would give City Life up to be able To go back to our Farm again. I was A little girl when We moved heart Broken, a new House in the city. Your house an Garden is wonderful, a great Place to raise your kids.😊
I wanted to watch this 3 hours ago when you uploaded, but I had just experienced surprise deer carnage in my brand new orchard and was running to find materials to fend off the wretched beasts. Your garden is so beautiful! We're in the same growing zone, and I love seeing what plants are doing well for you! There are always bombs and blessings right? I managed to barter some snow fencing and between that, some mesh we already had, step-in stakes, zip ties and bale twine, i managed to cobble together some Frankenfencing. I dare them to try again! Gardening is such a joy, regardless of its packaging. Lol. Big hugs, Angela!
Love your garden! It is amazing to see all you have done. This Spring has been good, as far as getting things done...but it is gardening, so something always comes up.
I would love for you to share more about growing poppies . What are your secrets ? Also , where do you get your seed for Cabbage poppies ? I’ve searched and can’t find any with that description
Oh the lilacs.🥹 My lilac is sick, there's something wrong with it, I've tried to get it healthy for three years now. I'm about to put the axe to it.😩🥹 I'll look forward to seeing your lilacs looking better next year.☺️
