In this video tutorial, I'll be explaining how to backup and restore QCN of a Qualcomm Android device

using Qualcomm Flash Image Loader or QFIL. For you to backup or restore

QCN, you need to have boot the device or enabled Diagnostic mode

on the device. We have a guide on how to enable Diag mode on your Qualcomm Android device. You also

need to have installed your QFIL from QPST

Now, don't forget that the QCN helps you fix NV related issues like baseband

have the device in Diag mode, you connect it to the PC while still powered on then you

launch QFIL. Once QFIL comes up, you'll see the device detected as Qualcomm

correctly. Now, you head over to Tools, click on QCN Backup Restore. Take note of the

path where your QCN file is going to get saved to.

thanks for sharing. Qpst can backup only in miui 10 but restore will not change the imie , to full restore I had to downgrade to miui 8 . tested and successed after 5 days of searching . redmi 4x

Does this work for Google pixel? I want to back up my qcn only nothing else cause my phone is working fine. After I backup my qcn I don't need to restore it right? Cause all I want to do is to backup the qcn file.

No, that won't work. You either get QCN from a working phone or you modify your QCN to fix the IMEI issue before restoring
Hi, i tested in a moto g5 plus and not works, i can get the qcn file, edit and restore with the new qcn(not have errors), but not write the new qcn file (i see this because i test get the qcn and receive the default qcn :/)

i changed IMEI in qcn with hex editor but when i resotore it imei not changing (pixel 3 android 12 rooted)
