- We celebrate Mother's Day and 3 birthdays in one night out with the kids because we are now traveling for 6 months across the country. Larry will be able to see them every 6 weeks when he flies back to Gainesville for his IVIG Infusion treatment.
We "formally" introduce our RV dog Scruffy - a Yorkipoo - but not much Yorkshire Terrier, mostly poodle haha.
Larry removes the extra propine line that was under our Grand Design RV Reflection 303 RLS fifth wheel.
One day left. What will we leave to the last day? Our travel Day? Yikes!

Hope you two are safe and doing well. Please don’t hate us here in NH! Some of our state parks actually do take dogs, at least in certain areas. But, as you unfortunately found out, Ellacoya ain’t one. I feel so badly that you had such a negative experience up here. Hopefully you’ll give us another chance sometime!

It was our fault. But many places require to check “dog” box. That would have helped.
It’s not just NH. Other NE state parks, too.

I hesitate to tell you that my first planned trip with the new teardrop is to Ellacoya. My daughter and I are going. My wife will be working and taking care of our four legged boy.

We travel with our cavoodle in Australia, and can not go to any National Parks at all, and also some State Parks. Sometimes near the large national parks there are dog sitters, but we haven't tried that yet. We went to National Parks over the years when we didn't have a dog. She is our baby/grand furbaby.
Catherine, I’m really surprised. We have many National Parks that have dog friendly trails.
We leave our dog for hours - with a camera on her.
I figure when I had a sticks and bricks. I left the dogs all day with no camera.
All our dogs were our fur babies 🐾 ❤️

I see you use a real ladder, rather than the dangerous and weak one on the back of most RVs. I'm designing a new one for my A Class, because a tree took out the weak aluminum one. The new one you be able to change the angle to 7 degrees 😮make it safer to climb.
Ron, Larry bought the Xtend and Climb retractable ages ago. You are right. The RV ladders are not safe.

You’re really making us miss having a dog. Our dog lost her battle with health issues about a year ago and we’ve been looking at each other with sad eyes ever since. Especially when I text my wife puppy pitbull Facebook posts. Which I do frequently. I guess that’s not very helpful. 👍🏼😎

If you want to get rid of that propane hose & quick connect I'd be interested! Our new 415G didn't come with that hose that crosses over. They installed the quick connect on the left side of the 5er. What good is that!
That’s a weird place for a propane quick connect?
Sorry. It’s in storage so we can put it back when we sell the Reflection.

Another good Video! My kids are in their 40’s ! We have a close relationship and I could not be away from them for 6 months! They are both 200 miles away. Maybe just fly back with Larry and spend a few days with the kids Alice ? Life is short . It’s only money! Get rid of the storage and use that money for airfare! Ok , I will be quiet!!! lol 😆

I’m not crazy about flying - especially having Scruffy fly. I’m going to FaceTime with them while I’m away. And have Larry FaceTime when he’s with them.

As far as I have seen, the broken crap has been all about all Rv companies across the board, over weight etc. Yall have never had that issue, and we personally are very excited to see y’all’s future travels! You are right. There are problems with many brands. Manufacturers need to build better frames and put lighter rigs on top.
Do you have a Florida State Park Passport book? I love getting it stamped.

@@DownsizingMakesCents Totally agree on the framing needing to be beefed up. I have always talked about getting a SP passport, however have yet to do so.😂 We do have a Florida poster with all of the State Parks on it that we mark with a sticker every time we visit a new one! 🤗
Why don’t you ask your buddies at grand design exactly how much weight you can put in the front how much weight you can put under the bed how much weight you can put in the basement and how those weights affect your overall CCC through balancing before your frame fails like other reflections are already failing that are 2024’s? Are you going to do a CAT scale video with everything loaded as it would be interesting to see what the pin weights are and the overall GVWR’s are on both the truck and the trailer and both? I do enjoy your content, and you are very helpful in explaining how you do things and that is appreciated.
This channel isn't about that. Give them credit to know their own busines. They sure don't have to share it all with the public.
