Thanks so much for the video. A friend gifted me one of this machine and over 9 months now I have been putting my washing soap on the non wash container and the softener on the washing container, now i know the correct way to use my machine. Thanks so much for the video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Just got in a new flat and this is the machine. I assumed the 1 would be for detergent as that's dispensed 1st. I put softener in the right drawer as it had the symbol. How confusing!
Hi, the innex provides a removable plastic measurer thing for use with liquid detergent, once you pour in the measured amount, do you remove the measuring device and let the detergent pour in, or do you leave it in. The instruction manual would suggest that its left in, however its quite tall and it would seem like the detergent would surely overflow into the fabric softener compartment when the water trys to flush the detergent in. What do you think? Leave it in after pouring, or put it back in its little holder?
@Martin Shepherd i left it in, my washing machine is one of those nee high efficiency machines with stupidly long wash times (think 4hr 37min for a 60C cotton wash, 3hr 30min for 40C synthetics cycle), and every time it adds water to the cycle it does so through the dispenser draw, which it does probably 40-50 times during the initial washing cycle. It doesn't wash the soap in straight away, but after about 5-7 addings of water its all washed over the measuring device thing and into the drum. I think it will depend on your machine, how many times it will try and wash the soap out during the wash cycle, because that will decide whether the soap gets washed out or not. I started by watching it, opening the draw after each adding of water and seeing the soap slowly washed out. So for me atleast its able to wash out all the soap early in the wash cycle with the measuring device in place. But if it doesn't work for you, pulling the device out and letting the soap pour in shouldn't be an issue, since most machines allow you to add detergent directly in the drum in one go with the clothes.
What role does that cap in the fabric softener compartment have? It can easily be pulled out and there is a tube there but I don't understand the role it has
Your video is so helpful for me... I have the same washing machine. But I am facing a problem of too much of noise while it spin for dry. Do u have any solution for this???
They can get noisy over time. Could be something in the drum or the belt is wearing out or the machine is not totally level. You could try reducing the RPM spin speed on a wash, clothes won't be as dry but it might be quieter.
Hey, thanks for the wonderful video . I have a question though, I put liquid detergent in 2nd compartment but the clothes still don’t smell nice. I feel like trying powder now. The same liquid was perfect with previous machine. I am using Persil (Lavender) gel.
Not sure why it’s not smelling nice then. Make sure it’s all in the correct compartments. Maybe try a different washing programme to what you normally choose, see if that helps

My mom has the indesit XWA 81682 and recently the conditioner drawer has been left filled up with water after the wash has finished. Shes taken the draw out and cleaned it but it keeps happening. is there a blockage somewhere? any advice please.
Conditioner is very heavy and can block pipes. Suggest you try a Super Hot Wash (90c) with no clothes in to see if you can flush it through. Great video! I personally use powder as I found that liquid tends to make the machine more grubbier and makes it smell and it didn’t last as long because it eroded the spider (support)
Is there any fluff filter? I’m having trouble with lint and I haven’t emptied the lint fluff since I got the washer dryer. Does it even have a lint fluff compartment? Help anybody?
My fabric softener is not being used up after the cycle is finished, it is still sitting in the dispenser like gloop at the end.. I make sure the amount doesn't go above the max line. I seriously can't work out why this is happening.
@@LurgsHowToGuides Thanks, i was just adding the fabric softener to the clothes, but the water washed it away before the rinse could happen. Just gave the dispenser a thorough clean, and waiting for the result, lol.

I don’t think it makes any difference. On our current Bosch we took it out.

It just helps with measuring the correct amount then it helps when the softener is flushed through.

It’s just a standard detergent drawer. Depends on your model, this may be used for Pre Wash if you have that function
Sorry If sound stupid but if I'm adding vanish oxi wash in same compartment as washing powder will it still be ok?
Yes if it's a stain remover it can go in a pre wash compartment or the main washing compartment.

Not sure as I haven’t got access to this now, it would be unusual for a washer dryer to have a lint fluff catcher.
