Swapping Stroman for Arenado is brain dead. Stromans money is not a lot for an innings eater. 10+ mil of it will be easy to eat. Arenado is making way more money. That sounds like the Donaldson trade all over again
Not even close as that rotation won't win us a ws. The yanks rotation in the 90s was better, the giants rotation with lintecum Cain and bumgardner, the braves rotation was better, the red sox rotation with Pedro was better, and there are a ton of rotations that are better

How low would era be honestly I think your choices were far off and not even remotely comparable
@MichaelTroyan Cole isn't that good as an ace though. Burns doesn't eat that many innings. Rodon isn't very good. Fried is solid but not sure I would call him glavine smoltz or maddux. I would take the 03 marlins staff over this one
We could get Lowe and yandy now for or trade for Massey or sign Santana for a year and make a big move for vlad. Maybe this was to free money up for Alonso or something bigger at third

That might be the worst trade proposal of all time. If you don’t start with Jasson Dominguez and a guy like George Lombard Jr, the A’s hang up immediately, they’re looking to keep him, same with guys like Brent Rooker and Lawrence Butler.
