My phone speakers couldn't reproduce any differences...also it's a good idea to use the same part of the song to compare similar speakers and to play a variety of music to really highlight the tonal differences...all I saw were two speakers vibrating and didn't get much out of the demo
Your supposed to use headphones to have any attempt at hearing any differences. I know this is 3 years late but just in case anyone reads your comment hopefully they see this.
Not going to be able to tell difference over a phone. Maybe a good speaker system or quality headphones or earbuds. Also, when doing a comparison you try to keep everything the same so yhr only difference is the actual product you're comparing. Same song, same volume etc. Using a different song is not a great way to compare....
Hi,I bought 6x9 reference speakers for my car. Where is the optimum position to install this. Back door, or parcel tray as 'free air', or in an enclosure? I installed components in the front door.
two amplifiers, at the front alpie mrv t505, back monoblock alpine mrd m1005 and subwoofer ground zero slp 30 , but on this video the subwoofer is turned off
For me one and second they are playing very similarly, I don't understand why kappa they are twice more expensive the more so as tweeters seem to be the same.
The kappa's are always sounding more deeper with bass than the reference. Look at the specs of the speakers. Kappa goes 45Hz and reference are 55hz. Reference sounds always boomy, you can hear the difference in this video too.
first on this movie reference are new so is the impression that kappa has a deeper bass, second kappa goes down to 45 Hz perhaps only on paper in fact does so low not descend. I also have dego PO 650 - 55 Hz in the specification and rainbow sac 625. 25 - 60 Hz in the specification and the bass this speakers are much deeper, more complete than the kappa
Very true. it doesnt sound that deep in compare to a real speaker with 45hz. But you can clearly hear the difference between the reference and kappa's in real life.
I have ran both.. I can honestly tell you with no AMP just ran off your deck there is absolutely no difference in sound! But when ran with a AMP the Kappas sound deeper.

infinity primus 6500cs or ref-6520cx?
these 2 or 4 ohm setup? i have the kappas in the rear, just want to match impedance!
speakers have a reduced impedencję to 3 ohms, both kappa and reference. You can plug into the radio or amplifier 4 ohm and everything will be ok
