- This unit ran fine while grinding the first hour. Then idled down while moving to the next stump. Short after it started to run rough and could not get it to rev off idle.
Star-tron Enzyme fuel treatment, I've saved 2 Wisconsins and a Case 4 cly gas without turning a wrench. Never seen anything make an old dirty carb work as well.
I'll give it a try!
Is it a one time treatment orlittle every tank?
@@stumpnc I give it a good glug the first time probably a pint, then a couple ounces per tank once it cleans up.
@@Rancher49 will do👍thanks for the info
That motor needs all the sheet metal cover on it. The right had cover the covers the spark plugs is missing. It will run hot. The covers direct air over all the fins
You are correct! I had it pulled off to get to the spark plugs
Did you ever get the bell housing off the other 465? I and working on a 672 with a 465. I was curious to see how long the crankshaft is on those motors with gear reduction and bell housings.
@CHRISINMCNEILL no haven't got around to removing the bell housing. My push behind it was to put it on my 222. But the more i think that 550lbs sitting on that swing arm and how i would have to off set it to align pulleys, i just dont see it working to well. So ive pushed it to the back burner.
We have a issue with one and the starter just like that we keep tapping the key. All the way on and on and it'll turn the engine over 1 out of like 50 tries
I just replaced the old one and had it completely rebuilt for $180. I haven't put it on yet because this one has been doing great. Until this one time, it hit just right and bound the gear to the fly wheel. Pulled started back so it could retract and haven't issues since. Thanks for watching!
@@stumpnc Yea I think the one we got here is a carb issue right now, Didnt get to mess with it today, but got the carb cleaned out had to make a new gasket So i will see tomorrow
