Hello Chinonso, there are 3 things involved in this case, 1. Faulty remote control 2. Faulty Amplifier (Hardware) 3. Software defect You can do a simple test to diagnose where the issue is coming from, To test for faulty remote, remove the remote batteries and try operating the device directly to see if the issue will persist. if it doesn't happen anymore, then you have a faulty remote control sending the wrong command on its own due to contact issues of faulty module. Simply order for a new remote control. To test for software defect, simply reset the system following the instructions below: -Unplug the power chord from the outlet and wait at least 1 hour -Press and hold the power button on the sound system (not the remote) for 60 seconds, -Still holding the power button, plug the power chord back to the socket outlet and keep holding the power button for another 60 seconds. (while plugging back, plug directly to the socket, no surge protectors). by doing the above process you have reset the system and everything should be back to normal. If the above mentioned process doesn't work, then you have a faulty amplifier which can be caused by long operation time in over voltage or under voltage conditions, it's quit a normal outcome for sound systems to develop such behaviors after experiencing a surge or under voltage for a long period of time. Age is also a factor. In this case, simply visit an LG service center in Nigeria, or contact (+234)08176664998 - U&U Repair team. Thanks for your comment ;)
Remember the LHD687 is a home theatre, and plays DVD, with surround, but when it comes to bass and loudness especially for outdoors, the cj45 will deliver better
Hello DJ Emmy, the Supported video formats include MPEG2 and XVID... I think you might need to do some video conversions first, or better still, most TVs with USB support can play mp4 or other rampant formats, you can also play from a TV and get the sound via aux or HDMI.
There is an issue I always have with mine, exactly the one your reviewed, the volume just drops when I am using it even when I don't reduce the volume.
