Its such a fantastic frenzy of complex sounds and modulations occurring so close in time with each other that they seem to be happening in real time. I even think he's doing arpeggio between the "noise" function, "Triangle", and "sawtooth" on channel B at one point. This song is madness incarnate. I love it.
0:17 the waveform on the bottom channel... no idea what that is. Obviously it has filter sweeps. It looks like a combined wave (or two being switched quickly) rising up with sync applied, but the sync effect is steady (master oscillator is constant, slave is rising), and the channel above (and "below") have changing pitches. All I can think of is that they're running it at 4x or even 8x and is retriggering the note manually to get their sync effect. If you could manually retrigger a note at a certain frequency, then shift the notes up (with steady triggering frequency) you could create "software sync" theoretically. But then I'm probably overthinking it and someone will tell me it's actually something really obvious.
When I paused the video, it looked a bit like a few different waveforms in this order: 1: Pulse 2: Noise 3: Triangle 4: Noise 5: Sawtooth And that loops back to the beginning...
Hey, another guy linked me to SidWiz and I used it, then added a bunch of stuff. Check out my latest video ("doubt") to see. It supports up to 8 channels, a I output, colors etc. The link is in the description. I don't know how else to contact you so I hope this reaches you :)

I realize I am kinda randomly asking but does anybody know of a good place to stream newly released tv shows online?
@Kaiser Zander Lately I have been using FlixZone. You can find it by googling =)
@Kaiser Zander i use flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
Those pitch bends are also so trippy.
Really pushing the limits of SID. Wonder if he burnt out any chips in the process? :)
Well, that means we could only serve fish.
Incredible for only 3 channels?!
HOLY SHIT MAN

I think it's done with the 8580.
it's 400hz song. Because waveform can't change so fast using 50hz or 60hz clock speed. Also smooth pitch slides and pwms made using 400hz clock speed.
hey, this track is really good
Remember, people enter the stage and start dancing at the M&S 1996 or 1997.
Holy Fuck!

Pre-Dubstep at it's finest gentlemen..
(get triggered.. idc.)
It sounds a lot more like acid house, tbh.
