Its good when I see Pinoy architects use their skills on projects that have Pinoy feel as opposed to doing yet another take on Asian Modern.
Wow it looks Amazing. Filipino Archtecture is evolving into more clean line and minimalistic design. It is very modern but I can still and feel the Bahay Kubo inspiration on it ! I love it :)

It's a well thought of design, to think may laundry area pa sa likod... I like the design of the banyo also, big tiles instead of smaller ones and wood accents...galing!! sarap manirahan sa ganito.. tahimik, malayo sa mga tsismosa hahaha

🥰👍🏼So far ito yung No. 1 na gusto kong bahay na pwede sa lugar namin😍 pero one bedroom nga lang kasi to. Pero maganda ang layout ng design nyo po. Sana makagawa kayo ng pang 2-3 bedrooms na parang vacation house na pwede ipa rent po. Example yung isang room pwede ang bunk beds good for family of 6 😉👍🏼
He showed that in the living area, you can turn it to additional sleeping area. I think this cottage would be perfect in the province, maybe even in an oceanfront lot/private compound. I’ve been looking through a few of these small “casita” style homes for idea, this now being on my top. Would love to have several casitas in a property separate from the main house. Thank you! I really like the design and function. Perfect for what I have envisioned.
OP: Could you design a stand alone kitchen, same Filipino style design with full functionality of a western style kitchen and maybe the laundry area adjacent but 1 structure? Big enough structure to house a 10-13 seater dining room and small seating area outside. I picture. This whole structure to be the main gathering area in my private compound.
beautiful design....but there's one thing need to be sure with, PH is a zone of typhoon, this must be test in typhoon resistance...
Hope you added even just a small balcony in the bedroom but overall this is one of the most complete bahay kubo inspired house I have seen! (Some don't have laundry area)

maaliwalas tingnan kaso sa totoong buhay kailangan ng lalagyan ng mga damit at mga kung anu anong gamit, dapat kasama sa design yung mga storage kasi otherwise pag walang lalagyan kung san san lang ilalagay mag clutter ang house

Beautiful plan! Just not a fan of too many steps to get from one point to another.
Mostly sa dirty kitchen/laundry area, imagine having to go up and down numerous times to prep for mealtime or a big basketful of dirty clothes, just a single level platform will do for for ease of access.
Otherwise, beautiful.

Elevated sleeping space is a classic bahay kubo feature. And outdoor laundry/lavatory/dirty kitchen
