    Chicken 65 - No colour. No double tadka. No fuss. A simple fried chicken recipe that works perfectly with a chilled glass of beer. I've been to Buhari in Chennai
    and the classic version there is actually on the bone. Whereas the Hyderabad one is laced with tadka and lot of colour as well. The Kerala one is milder, more peppery and lots of curry Patta! There are n no. of stories on how Chicken 65 came into existence and how it became popular whether it's the 65th item on the menu or the 65 spices story. What I've learnt that every canteen or local pub has their own version of fried chicken down south and sooner or later people tend to call it Chicken 65 because of the small bite sized cut the bright fried colour and the crisp curry leaves! This is my take on the classic, very very simple. Hope you enjoy this #Meaty Monday recipe with a glass of beer.
