Video shows hamlin sliding up into Dillon. And hamlins audio has his spotter yelling outside outside outside three times, and hamlin moved up into Dillon. So Does that mean hamlin intentionally tried to wreck dillon. Going by denny and nascar logic it does.

Saw Denny spin right in front of where I was seated. Glad I got to stay for Monday and see the great racing for the rest of the race. Decent recovery for Denny. Glad to see his day wasn’t a complete disaster after the spin.

On the topic of Kyle versus Max as an avid fan of both racing series, I fully think they’re equal but very different. In an overall scheme of things, I think Kyle is more skilled with multiple styles of racing. Max is incredible in his passes however when it comes to f1 I feel like all their rules limit how “great” a driver is or could be.
Kyle has proven that he can drive just about any motorsport apparatus and be damn good at it.
Fun fact: Max’s uncle on his mom’s side was a European NASCAR champion and if I’m not mistaken he drove in the truck series a few times several years ago along with former F1 Champion Kimi Räikkönen !
Now, if I had to compare Kyle to anyone, it would definitely be Kimi. He raced Rally cars in Finland, and snowmobiles along with doing motocross and his forte in the Trucks. He’s one of the most versatile drivers to ever hit F1. Kyle will be remembered for this same reason!
I love that Kyle has made it a point to seek out every type of motorsport there is and be good at.. it not just do it, but succeeded and win !

The weather making the race 2 days sucked and made it shuffle our lives around so we could stick around but it was worth it seeing my favorite driver. Being able to stand a couple feet from the fence/wall separating the track from the stands and being able to wave to Denny was cool. I would love Denny's opinion on this and wish someone brings it up to Sawyer or someone from NASCAR. Does this new precedent set with thr Austin Dillon penalty change how NASCAR would view something like Ryan Newman's move at Phoenix to advance to the championship race? Like does the incident HAVE to be for a win? Does it HAVE to have hard and direct playoff consequences? I feel like some of these answers can clarify to people who are confused about whats acceptable and what isn't.
I also wish someone would put NASCAR's feet to the fire on these late cautions and GWC policies. Because Denny is right. You undermine the sport aspect of racing TOO MUCH when you have policies that can take what would be a legitimately decided result and throw it all into a blender.

I don't understand why the sport-the racing itself-isn't recognized as the entertainment. They're not two separate things when it comes to competition. If you make a good racecar, then the racing is good and it's entertaining. The one leads to the other, and the two go together. Obvious gimmicks or unwarranted cautions don't actually make the racing product better. A late caution doesn't make a bad race as a whole better; it potentially makes the end a little more exciting, but the race was still bad because there were no passing or not enough battles on track under normal race conditions. We have to accept that not ever track lends itself to being a 10 and that having a badly designed car hurts the product that gimmicks can't make up for.
I totally agree that NASCAR is chasing fans too much. They are doing the same thing with the OEMs, not making any engine changes or general changes to the car when it needs them. Get eyes on the product, and other opportunities open up on their own, and you do this by making the racing as good as it can be. You focus on making the best product possible, and the rest will take care of itself. It's baffling to me how they just don't understand this basic fact.

I hate that NASCAR is short sighted. Taking the bag by going more cable is going to be detrimental in the long term. Indycar has smarter leadership than NASCAR.

I'm a huge nascar fan and I watch as much as I can. I don't watch road courses tho. But Jared is correct . On Sunday I work my day around the race . I make sure I'm there for the start of the race .I would enjoy races starting around 1pm est. That way I could do stuff in morning . Watch the race . And still have time in the day to finish what I was doing . Or do other stuff

Skydiving is not like falling. The air feels like it's holding you up.....think of 110 mph air pressure on every inch of your body. Also even though the ground is rushing up at you at that speed it is a gradual increase in size so it doesn't seem like it's rushing up at you. I suggest it for anyone with an adrenaline personality.💯

And In the same race where Kevin Harvick spun and attempted to wreck Kyle Busch, Denny would not have made it if Eric Jones had passed him but Eric Jones was not told over the radio, not to pass Hamlin, which is against the rules. If Jonas had passed Hamlin, Harvick would not have needed to attempt to wreck Kyle Busch.

I was at the race. I told my buddy, “Hamlin is racing bubba for stage points! Isn’t that his team mate for the team he owns?!”
Coming out of turn 4 and Hamlin spun out. That was bizarre. And Ross finished ahead of bubba. Hamlin, your selfish and got what was deserved!

As a Canadian fan it will be nearly impossible to access NASCAR content next year.I already pay 5$ a month just to view a few Truck races (access for FS1).Unless TSN carries all the rest(and they have not committed as yet/and they won’t be able to access all I am sure). Fan since forever but especially since early 90’s when TV broadcasts became available regularly.Way to go NASCAR/losing another long time fan next year🎉👍I am not about to play wack-a-mole and spent big $$$ on multiple subscriptions/extra streaming.

NASCAR had the change to set the standard, when Ross rode the wall to get into the playoffs..
I definitely think dillion's chances of an appeal is higher , 10%-33%
But really depends on how they make thier case..
    Win your in..
Past situations vs what was handed down..
The panel from my knowledge still can tweak the outcome, so I don't think Dillion gets completely off ...
But I do see where there's enough of a defense , that he could be reinstated into the playoffs.
By NASCAR own language a win gets you in..

I think the most likely outcome of Dillon's appeal is that the penalty will stand. Maybe there is a 10-15% chance that the penalty is overturned. I have a hard time seeing the panel taking the win from him and giving it to Denny.
