There have been a lot of questions about whether there will be a part 4/some other type of sequel to Dead Fortress, so I'll reveal that now: nope. This entire project has been an exceptional pain in the ass to make, and I have no intention to continue it in the future. I know it's disappointing to some of you, but I simply have no desire to work on this ever again - just like with Moron VS Machine series.
Just wondering, if ever someone wishes to continue your series, would you allow it? If they got the SFM talent, and the determination to work on it, would that be fine? Do we have to pay for the rights on this project or do you just not want anyone to continue it? Whatever your choice is, this was a really great series and I'm glad you made it and I watched it!
@@bewarious8348 As long as they clearly state that it's a non-official/fan production and links back to this channel, why not? Ideally that someone would contact us for a written permission first, just so that all bases are covered. As long as the aforementioned (along with any possible separately agreed upon) conditions are met, I don't mind fan works at all (excluding re-uploads, obviously).

I Honestly feel that 5:04 is a Reference to the Left 4 dead escape for Crash Course, and really, spy and sniper really hold the infected pretty well. Nice Job btw! (Edited: very smooth video too!)
You are very correct with that feeling - the scene was heavily inspired by the Crash Course finale, as it provided a logical yet dramatic setting for it. The car lift even uses the same sound as the L4D counterpart!

We have no plans to make any further installations - the whole series has been an absolute pain in the ass to make, and it has only gotten more so with every subsequent part. I'd much rather work on something else in the future.

So, I suspect that IF this were to be continued the elephant in the room would become a problem for those two, they didn't even have a quarter tank of gas when they left so they likely would have run out of gas before even reaching those survivors resulting in them having to go on foot and just like in Left 4 Dead be too late to save any survivors.

Due to the legislation in my home country, setting up Patreon without providing something in return would *technically* be illegal. Because of that, I'd most likely have to use something like Channel Memberships for that purpose since they provide some (nominal) benefits in return. I've thought about setting it up, but I'm rather hesitant due to how rare uploads tend to be these days. I definitely appreciate the thought, though! If you want to donate money, consider one of the relief/assistance funds for Ukraine! Those guys and gals definitely deserve it.
