Nadine, please do not feel like you have to travel just for your channel, we all go through different periods in our life and if this isn’t a time for constant travel don’t push it :) I’d be happy with any content: baby related, BC related, new parents, weekly vlogs, etc! Just happy to follow along.
Would love more Canada travel guides and top things to in different parts of Canada! I love all your context especially as your life has changed! I’m from the US and have travelled a bunch overseas ( after a lot of your videos😀) but haven’t gotten to Canada hardly at all! Also tips for family travel when you start road trips and other stuff!
So glad you all seem to be recovering well from covid. It was so cute watching Elliot roll back and forth! I would watch anything with you guys! When you do take some trips (whether it's road trips or later in the year flying somewhere) would appreciate tips for baby travel or reviews on baby travel gear.
Maybe reviews on various baby products you find useful and bonus if it makes traveling with baby easier. I have a 20 month old and I'm always looking for things that make traveling (even to the grocery store) easier.
I have been here since parody/musical days haha Please do whatever you're comfortable doing. Maybe doing family travel tips! Traveling with a baby. I'm sure a lot of people would love to see that. I personally don't have kids but I would love to see anything including your little fam :) Or even doing something outside of travel. New hobbies that interest you? Or thought pieces to start discussion? Honestly I'd watch it all no matter what road you venture down next! Glad to see you're feeling better.
Glad Elliott is doing better, but wow must have been so scary to see him sick. 🥺 I love watching these update kind of vlogs! I think just any kind of life update videos are really fun to watch. Even just talking to the camera as he is playing. 😊 Totally makes sense to not force traveling at the moment. You’ll know when you’re ready! I’ve also slowed down traveling a bit.
Healing vibes to you and your adorable fam! I have been going through a similar mindset as an avid traveler who also had a baby during this pandemic. I used to be so fearless and wouldn't bat an eyelash about going anywhere. Now, I am a much more fearful person. I want to travel, but I am afraid to do it now, especially with a toddler.
Nadine and Matt, you are at the crossroads of planning your future so take your time to sort out what is best for the two of you. Meanwhile you could compile some highlights of past traveling videos for subscribers who did not subscribe early. Even though I watched all of it, I would love to see it again. Out takes and bloopers maybe too. Nadine, you were never lost for ideas so I believe you can think of something to provide content. Whatever, do not neglect your channel because that is a sure way to lose subscribers as many RUclipsrs found out in the past. RUclips shorts are working for some like Adrian Bliss. But who am I to advise you, when you have so much more experience and imagination?
Nadine, I think as millennials we romanticized about traveling and now that we are older we just have new priorities! I just got back from 5 day trip and I need a vacation from my vacation! Airlines are a joke nowadays and sightseeing is tricky because of covid. Times have just changed!
I think trips in the Westy would be a great way to experiment on what you need to travel with a baby, and if you camp local, you can always go home to get things or if the baby is too fussy. Lol you guys could become vanlifers!!
Honestly I’d like to see you guys have fun! Why not play a couples game of planning itineraries for random family members based on taste? Or itineraries if money wasn’t an issue? Do PowerPoint style like I’ve seen on tik tok for families trying to get votes on their itineraries. Bring back the musical parodies! It would be hilarious. Q&A vlog (struggles with the transition to parenthood, things you wish you could tell your pre-baby self to do before baby) Sharing bloopers from old travel videos
It’s Sooooooo different coming from single travel, to couple|friend travel to travel with 1 kid and then 2! Hang in there you will get the travel mojo back and flow your own way again :) it’s seriously about moving into slower travel mode, having tons more patience and honestly bring the right stuff 😂 my first kid had 12 countries under her belt before she was 2, and my boy had his second birthday in Prague lol. Before you know it they’ll be chasing pigeons all over the world. Enjoy it :) ✈️ 🌍
Actually, even staying by yourself do bother changing and doing things for your own pleasure and sake, it will also help the relationship between you staying fresh and healthy, otherwise you will just be focused on a baby 24/7, which is understandable, when he is sick, but really not otherwise
Videos on hiking gear etc. would be highly appreciated :) booking tips, any tip regarding gear and preparation. You don't need to actually travel to creat great travel related content. What to pack, how to pack, what it is useless to pack.. Etc. :)
You're one of the very first travel vloggers I found ...I think it must've been, hmm 2013-14 somewhere around there. And while I was truly captivated by your incredible adventures , the breathtaking surroundings etc, I had become very fond of the person doing the traveling and of course the filming. That includes the special people that have come into your life . In that span..and especially more recently...the circumstances of the world produced many ups and downs. But one thing remains steady...my support for you. Please don't pressure yourselves. Obviously I look forward to the day you're able to , say, take to the skies again. But I am mainly here for the star(s) of the show. And oh my goodness, you have had enough to deal with, to put anyone through the ringer. This has been quite a ride. And despite the ride not being on the road, or in the air, I'm quite fine following along on whatever journey you take us. Hope the recovery for you guys continues and you all feel a hundred percent soon :)
I subscribed to your channel years ago for the travel content but now I'm just so happy to see your uploads anytime because I like your perspectives and personalities! Videos where you're just interacting with each other and the camera in a laid back way and being real is where you guys really shine! You're doing a great job! I'll be looking forward to any future travel content that fits in with your family, but if you're looking for ideas in the meantime, maybe talk about your favorite books? Or what you think about life/the universe? What's important to you? What kind of person are you always striving to be? What environmental causes are you passionate about and why? What are your relationships/experiences with fear, insecurity, sadness and joy? These are things that matter to a lot of us but we don't talk about them very often.
I would honestly watch anything with you guys! :) Maybe you could do more baking videos? really enjoyed the one with the Brezeln haha. Also, maybe some challanges playing geoguesser?? Would be so fun to see!
Dude I'm proud that you got some baths in. Major win! You guys deserve some rest! We want you for a long time and I hope yall keep being happy and get yalls healthy💖💗
I'm actually so glad to hear that you listened to YOUR needs and took that extended break! Having a baby and becoming parents is HARD in the best of times- let alone with Covid about 😅 As a travel loving pandemic momma I feel everything you're saying deep in my bones. As a viewer; I'm definitely interested in tagging along for your journey through parenthood and knowing I'm not alone going through it 🤣 I really enjoy the westie videos too when y'all are ready to explore again. You gotta do what's best for you and the family first and foremost ❤
I subscribed to see you. I loved your personality and how you kept it real. I loved how you are kind, compassionate, and funny. You could just make a video about making a cup of tea or coffee and I would watch it.
This is totally understandable! And I can entirely relate - previously travel-loving husband and I (who met travelling!!) haven’t travelled since having our baby/COVID (plus can relate also to the “high energy”, contact napping, no sleep, absolute exhaustion, just downright ‘hard’ days!! 2 and a bit years in now and it DOES get easier - or maybe we just adapt 🤔) Honestly will be happy to see whatever kind of content you put out - whatever works for you will work for us longtime viewers who (as sappy as it sounds) care about you and are interested in what you’re up to. Take care, Nadine and Matt (and Elliot!) ❤️
Hi! I found your channel because I really love to travel, but I totally understand that life change and our travel habits also change. It could be very interesting to see how you travel with a baby and a little bit more of your day to day life. I really love your channel :)
Anything baby, cooking, westy related! I also really like your delivery of facts when you travel- like history of a place, packing lists, logistics, things like that. Maybe if there’s a random subject that you’re interested in giving information about. My mind goes to something like those true crime podcasts, cool or weird moments in history, or random facts on subject. I’m not sure if I’m explaining it well, but basically anything where you’re sharing information.
don't feel pressured to make travel content. I've been subbed to your channel for years back when you made random skits, wow Wednesday, vlogs when you lived with Olga Kay and then travel videos. I'll stick around for whateves next.
While these topics don’t appeal to me, things like family road trips and RV travel, family vlogging channels are SOOOO popular. It may happen that you loose a small proportion of your old audience however it’s likely that you’ll bring in a whole new and potentially larger audience who enjoy this type of family content and baby updates. Either way, you need to do whatever feels right and authentic for you guys ☺️
More trips in your campervan around Canada would be great … and introduce things about Canada and Canadians for an international audience, like your culture/ food places/ shops/ unique things to Canada. As a European, its nice to learn about Canada through your westie trips 😊🇨🇦
I originally followed you for your travel content but I too am a new Mum to a little boy (4 months old). I would love to just see more everyday family adventures, camping, westy travel etc. I think it’s cool to still see family based adventures not necessarily jet setting around the world.
Don't push yourself to travel until you are ready. That being said, I would love to see ideas to scratch the travel itch when you can't really do that..maybe explore a nearby town for a day trip? Or few ideas on some activities you can do with a baby/child when on trips.
Glad to hear that you are all recovered from lots of horrid stuff. Take your time. Lots of us are feeling completely disorientated at the moment and lacking in confidence. Enjoy Elliott and each other until you are ready to face the world in your own way.
Baby-Cancer-Covid OH MY! At least Eliot seems in good spirits lol. I am a forever solo traveler and even I'm so confused about how this is all going to work out! I went from traveling multiple times a year to not really going anywhere except local road trips in the last 2 years! Add a baby to it and I can only imagine how you two feel. I did always like the advice you gave about planning so maybe you can do content about what the restrictions are for other countries? Although that is always changing soooo maybe not. Well my other favorite RUclips Channel is a solo van life nomad so maybe if you decide to do a longer road trip you can film that? I think I can safely say that those of us who have been following you for years really don't care what you upload lol you're a fun trio to watch :-)
Thank you for you insight, and it’s good to hear it not just us struggling with the new restrictions . We are interested in doing more travel just trying to figure it all out and figure when we are ready
Hey I've been watching you since your Machupichu solo travel days when you spoke about your sigma art lens. I think it was around the time when Vagabrothers and FunforLouis were a thing. Nice to see an OG creator still kicking. Pls make tighter edits to ensure better watchtime and 3 element thumbnail for better CTR. You have the wealth of experience the world should watch in 2022. I wanna see more of you.. hopefully travelling too.
Make videos about travelling with your first child. You’ll be great at it. There will be some one like you who has yet to experience a child with Covid or skin cancer and they will benefit from advice. Side note, I have twins and we enjoy camping in the Vanagon 😄
I'm glad that all of you are feeling a lot better! No worries at all that you haven't been able to travel much at all since Elliott was born. I like the idea of slowly easing back into travel in 2022 but only doing less frequent trips especially in the Westy. As you love to travel but really can't at the moment, some cool ideas of videos is to film videos on how Elliott reacts to watching some of your past travel videos or a video showing his reactions to reading a world atlas. I'll look forward to anything you do post!
Your cooking videos were fun, but with a baby, those could be a bit more complicated now. ;) I think road trip, westie camping sounds like fun content. But don't wear yourself out, once Elliot is a bit older it might be easier for that type of content. How is he in the car?
Definitely just do whatever you feel most comfortable doing! Be that sticking to the Canadian west, or jumping on a plane to Fiji! (Although I would love to see your westy setup with Elliot, especially as you're probably not going to use the original baby cot addition that hung from the front window 🤣)
You are such an inspiration! I have enjoyed watching your travels, but seeing you grow your family and how you deal with life just keeps bringing me back. I too am in the same boat of transitioning from solo travel to family travel. I am working on starting my own channel for family travel tips, we have three kiddos so traveling is quite a bit different. I can appreciate that you are on a different path in your life and I'd love to just see your journey as a family, even if it's not travel related. I think your following will adjust based on where you're at, as you mentioned a lot of us are growing families as well, but can also look back on your valuable videos from the past. You have such a presence and that is worth it's weigh in this arena. Sending care, health, and abundance your way!
Love your little family guys! I know how it is to have a little one and being out of the travel moment - so too say! A tip: what about talking more about that? The fears of baby traveling or talking about how to roadtrip with a baby? Does and don’t Something entirely else could be about: future dreams (travels, baby life, how to raise them, and what you guys think that your travels before having a baby has giving you as parents.) I would love to teach my kid about the world and the open and kind people! :)
I've always loved your travel tips and advice videos, I would also watch videos for your advice on any number of things! I think you have a lot of insight and knowledge on a lot of experiences through your travels and now being a mother and going through covid. Maybe you could pivot to more life advice sort of content? You were one of the first travel vloggers I ever watched and it kick-started my passion for traveling, I'm sure whatever content you create will be great
You probably have this sort of content somewhere (I just may have missed it) but how you do research into travelling. Pick a "pretend" trip destination and record the steps that you do research. Like visa/passport stuff, hotels, what things you plan on doing (weekdays vs weekends vs potential holidays), transit, food etc. I think that would be fun :)
Maybe road trip to some of the communities around canada like the Portuguese, german or spanish one etc, tad easier then hoping on a plane lol. Think everyone will still watch you guys know matter the content your providing!
I hope you are all on the mend soonest! Spring will arrive; you folks will be able to go outside a bit. Hopefully Covid will abate somewhat in the warmer weather. As for your question, I've been around since Nadine was a chat streamer. You might want to consider brief 30-60 min Twitch "Just Chatting" or IRL streaming. There may be some synergy there with other new parents, sharing your experiences.
You could be come a hobby channel. Cooking or making things... Get a Etsy shop for the things. You could diamond paint. That's what I do. You could even game. Naaa... LOL What do you want to do? Maybe family Vlogs are best while your son is small? Everyone loves baby news from you guys. I do! ❤️❤️❤️
I’m sure it was covid, but teething can give babies a fever too. :/ I’m sorry that you guys got sick. If you freeze a clean, wet washcloth, that’s helpful. Or frozen fruit if he’s eating solids. Good luck! 👍
Don't feel obligated to travel when you aren't ready. Im personally interested in home vlogs ..haha love watching people doing things at home. cooking, eating, cleaning, gaming or just random talking to the camera =D
Not only have I enjoyed your trips around the world, I also enjoyed the trips you took in the Westy. Seeing all the various parts of Canada is still a foreign, although not that different, country to me. And you guys always manage to find some beautiful locations.
First of all, Elliot has an adorable laugh. Secondly, this is totally normal when becoming new parents. I used to do international trips multiple times a year but after having kids and with covid it was just easier to do road trips. It would be nice to see more of Canada and even the states. Dont rush into anything if you aren't ready. I did do a few trips before covid with kids and it is hard with naps and time change, long travel days, many activities having age restrictions and even just needing vaccines for a lot of third world countries. Just my thoughts.
Elliot all bundled up in the little sled is the absolute cutest thing I've ever seen. I cannot wait till my niece is older so we can go snowboarding together and all that but he just looked so cute in his little outfit with the gloves/mittens and in the sled. Too cute.
Umm Ahmed from Palestine, Gaza Strip, good people, I live in a rented house, my orphaned children need you to communicate, attached with a personal photo 🏵🌺🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
Any chance of a car accident to complete the bad news?😃😱, Excessively tough 2or 3 months, condensing all your bad luck? I hope summer is better, much love to you both ❤️✌️🇬🇧
I’m on my second day of having Covid so I can totally relate to what you guys have been going through fortunately I’ve been tripled vaccinated so it just feels like a real bad cold but so far so good you guys hang in there and throw us all a video every now and then. Take care and give care❤️
Cancer, now coronavirus and a new baby, understandable there's been no yt videos, take time to adjust and recover, much love to you both ❤️✌️🇬🇧
Thank you!
Nadine, please do not feel like you have to travel just for your channel, we all go through different periods in our life and if this isn’t a time for constant travel don’t push it :) I’d be happy with any content: baby related, BC related, new parents, weekly vlogs, etc! Just happy to follow along.
Thank you so much for your support 🙂
Glad you guys are ok. None of us have travelled…. we stay at home and watch you. Road trips are fine too…Honesty is so refreshing ❤️
Would love more Canada travel guides and top things to in different parts of Canada! I love all your context especially as your life has changed! ahahah oh my goodness I totally forgot you used to play WoW. What a blast from the past.

VERY TRUE... #vanlife?
Honestly I’d like to see you guys have fun! Why not play a couples game of planning itineraries for random family members based on taste? Or itineraries if money wasn’t an issue? Do PowerPoint style like I’ve seen on tik tok for families trying to get votes on their itineraries.
Bring back the musical parodies! It would be hilarious.
Q&A vlog (struggles with the transition to parenthood, things you wish you could tell your pre-baby self to do before baby)
Sharing bloopers from old travel videos
Great suggestions:) I’ll have to look up a bunch of those TikTok’s

I would honestly watch anything with you guys! :) Maybe you could do more baking videos? really enjoyed the one with the Brezeln haha. Also, maybe some challanges playing geoguesser?? Would be so fun to see!

Travel around Canada. Drumheller, AB looks like has some cool family activities.
Glad the three of you are doing well. Get outside, you need that vitamin D. I’m sure I saw it but I don’t remember the M&M video.
Hahaha it’s private now, but it was a good one lol
I just want you to be happy and healthy. Let the content happen as it happens. Travel is good though.
I think family music parodies should be your next pivot 😂But seriously, take all the time you need! Health and family always come first
Haha oh my
I subscribed to see you. I loved your personality and how you kept it real. I loved how you are kind, compassionate, and funny. You could just make a video about making a cup of tea or coffee and I would watch it.
Lol thanks! Alright cup of tea video coming soon
More baby content plssssss

Awesome job Nadine how is your baby boy doing?
Doing well :)
Awesome
Hi! I found your channel because I really love to travel, but I totally understand that life change and our travel habits also change. It could be very interesting to see how you travel with a baby and a little bit more of your day to day life. I really love your channel :)
Absolutely would love any content you make. GRWM, chit chats, day in the life. Anything☺️
Anything baby, cooking, westy related! I also really like your delivery of facts when you travel- like history of a place, packing lists, logistics, things like that. Yea definitely don’t start traveling just for RUclips! do what feels right for your family. Priorities do and should change
I subscribed for travel content, but I am not going to complain about cute videos of Elliot either 😊 just do what feels right for you
Why dont you guys build a tiny home for your family and find a small property to put it on? you could film the process.......fill in with Westy trips
Just love both of your personalities and honesty about it life. Will keep watching what ever the content might be.
Glad to hear that you are all recovered from lots of horrid stuff. Take your time. Lots of us are feeling completely disorientated at the moment and lacking in confidence. Enjoy Elliott and each other until you are ready to face the world in your own way.
Maybe start a new channel, of family vlogging and keep this one for only travel content.
I'm still here for the MMO videos. xD
Maybe you should connect with Flying the Nest

Senangnya punya baby yang lucu..
Imut..
How to travel with a baby would be interesting
i like baby content as we are trying for one and have no idea what it will be like
Yea my first was the same, still has no chill at 2.5 😭
TURN TO GOD, THIS WORLD BELONGS TO THE DEVIL.
Make videos about travelling with your first child. You’ll be great at it. There will be some one like you who has yet to experience a child with Covid or skin cancer and they will benefit from advice. Side note, I have twins and we enjoy camping in the Vanagon 😄
Oh my! We can’t wait to take Elliot in the westy, but needs to be warmer weather first!!
im sorry yall got covid
Let’s go sailing !
elliot is so adorable!!
I love your Clifford road trips and am looking forward to when you get out there with Elliot! Hope you all get completely well very soon!
thank you :)
Your cooking videos were fun, but with a baby, those could be a bit more complicated now. ;) I think road trip, westie camping sounds like fun content. But don't wear yourself out, once Elliot is a bit older it might be easier for that type of content. How is he in the car?
Great video.
Definitely just do whatever you feel most comfortable doing! Be that sticking to the Canadian west, or jumping on a plane to Fiji!
(Although I would love to see your westy setup with Elliot, especially as you're probably not going to use the original baby cot addition that hung from the front window 🤣)
What, there was a cot that hung from the window? Lol
@@heynadine yes! Just google westfalia child cot, its sort of like the dog backseat hammock covers except across the front seats
Thank you
You are such an inspiration!
Thank you, and yes hoping we all grow through life together , that’ll be nice :)
Love your little family guys! I know how it is to have a little one and being out of the travel moment - so too say!
A tip: what about talking more about that? The fears of baby traveling or talking about how to roadtrip with a baby? Does and don’t
Something entirely else could be about: future dreams (travels, baby life, how to raise them, and what you guys think that your travels before having a baby has giving you as parents.)
I would love to teach my kid about the world and the open and kind people!
If your gonna VW Van? Look into a Subaru Drivetrain conversion. VW is so unreliable, gutless and exspensive…
👍
ive been watching lot of finance, road trip and home stuff. home stuff like decorating, organizing to remodeling.
Haha the World of Warcraft flashback-the vids from that era is what brought me to Nadine's channel 😂
Maybe road trip to some of the communities around canada like the Portuguese, german or spanish one etc, tad easier then hoping on a plane lol. Think everyone will still watch you guys know matter the content your providing!
Make a video reviewing the places you've been, whether you think they will be baby friendly.
Daily vloging Fitness journey while baby keepind would be one thing
I do! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you 😊
Bring us back to the Nostaglic moments 🙂
Travel around through Azeroth!
I’m sure it was covid, but teething can give babies a fever too. :/ I’m sorry that you guys got sick. If you freeze a clean, wet washcloth, that’s helpful. Or frozen fruit if he’s eating solids.
Good luck! 👍
Good to see ya!! Clad you're all feeling better!
Don't feel obligated to travel when you aren't ready. Im personally interested in home vlogs ..haha love watching people doing things at home. cooking, eating, cleaning, gaming or just random talking to the camera =D
Nice
Not only have I enjoyed your trips around the world, I also enjoyed the trips you took in the Westy. Seeing all the various parts of Canada is still a foreign, although not that different, country to me. And you guys always manage to find some beautiful locations.
Thank you, glad you are enjoying
First of all, Elliot has an adorable laugh. Secondly, this is totally normal when becoming new parents. I used to do international trips multiple times a year but after having kids and with covid it was just easier to do road trips. It would be nice to see more of Canada and even the states. Dont rush into anything if you aren't ready. I did do a few trips before covid with kids and it is hard with naps and time change, long travel days, many activities having age restrictions and even just needing vaccines for a lot of third world countries. Just my thoughts.
Thank you for you insight, I always expected it to change, just Covid adds another layer ontop of things
❤️
I subscribe because you’re worth supporting. Even if you released one video a year, I would be happy to see your awesome family. ❤️
Aw thank you so much 😊
Elliot all bundled up in the little sled is the absolute cutest thing I've ever seen. I cannot wait till my niece is older so we can go snowboarding together and all that but he just looked so cute in his little outfit with the gloves/mittens and in the sled. Too cute.
Hahah thanks
@@heynadine You're welcome 🤣
Be well you guys
Glad you are all on the mend!
