I’m glad you are reviewing smaller bags. I need a personal item bag with max dimensions of 40x30x10 cm (16x12x4 inches) for Swiss Air. I’ve been traveling with an old Nike Roll top 29L backpack but I want to get something easier to get in/out of.
It is clear more and more airlines are moving to personal item only for free and a charge for everything else. I see so many people carrying massive backpacks as personal items and place them in the storage bins along with a full-size carry-on. The airlines are so understaffed that they will not regulate this abuse on most domestic airlines. I am testing a shift to a maximum size personal item that will not exceed the avg. weight limit of 15 lbs. for international travel.
I’d be down for 3 water bottle pockets. Even if you don’t take 3 bottles, it gives you flexibility as to where you put it. You can also use them for other purposes.
@@Sandilini totally. I keep hiking poles in water bottle pockets, or rolled up sit mat in them. I've kept a spotting scope in one before now. They're just round stretchy pockets. I'd imagine a camera lens might fit in them? Maybe
I agree with you re the dark lining seems a poor design decision, but at least the main compartment interior is dark blue and not more black. I don't mind the three water bottle sized pockets though. I often carry a water bottle, slim thermos, and umbrella to work, and would use one of the outer side pockets for the umbrella. And you don't HAVE to use those pockets, but useful if/when you do need them.
I've noticed lately that a LOT of bags are Black, techy, technically unisex but quite masculine really. Most notable in sling bags . There's nothing wrong with that, but what about people that want a more of a feminine feel / aesthetic? Some different internal fabrics with nice designs like paisley or puppies or some nice rose gold metal hardware and zips? I dunno, I'm rambling, but surely, there's some amongst us that would like something less "black & techy" and more "purple & puppies" 🤪 😂

I liked the look of the bag, but I didn’t care for how much effort it took to adjust the straps. Agree that a sternum strap would’ve helped too
Thanks for sharing your insights! 🤙
Did you said it was a 20 l bag ?😊
Name of the bag at the background, 2nd row 3rd from the right? Thanks
Some misses in this bag: the dark internal liners are a big negative. Also, three water bottle holders is just weird.

Internal water holder for me is super useful to keep glasses in a rigid case for example
Please make a video on sleek camera bag
