Skiathos - The Ultimate Holiday Part 2 (Sandra & Terry)

- Sandra and I travelled with my brother and sister in law for the first part of the week, footage can be seen in our video "Skiathos"
During the second part of this trip we continued our stay at Cape Kanapitsa hotel and took full advantage of Kanapitisa Taverna and Kanapitsa beech. Other days we took the Water Taxi to Skiathos Town and visited Bourtzi Island for a bite to eat with some fine wine.
Kantavaros bar was also a good place for evening entertainment.
One thing is a must if you visit this beautiful island, take a trip to the airport runway, it's a blast in every sense of the word.
Another beach to visit are Tsougria with it's crystal clear waters
Skiathos has everything from relaxation to boat trips, plenty of unusual shops in narrow streets throughout papadiamanti, fantastic for couples.
The most exotic airplanes landings scene in the world!!! See you back in the island guys! Great video.

Love, love, love Skiathos. This video has brought back happy memories for me and reminded me that I need to plan a return visit ....soon!
Yes it's a lovely place and perfect for relaxation, locals are also so friendly. My sister in-law likes it so much she has bee going for the past 30 + years, sometimes twice a year :)

Hi, I am looking at skiathos for next years holiday, travelling as a couple 46 & 51..no idea which resort to stay in, we like bars at night time with music & also nice restaurants, dont want anywhere that's quiet but not too in ur face 🙈 any recommendations wld be appreciated 😁
Hi Kerry, definitely Skiathos Town, it has everything you're looking for and all within walking distance, you can get a boat taxi to most beaches and other resorts which are quite cheap but set off early if looking for a sunbed as they go early, you'll love the place, our favourite Island 🌞🌴🥂😎👍

Hi John, apologies for the delay in responding, it's been hectic with this coronavirus. We stayed at Cape Kanapitsa which was lovely overlooking the ocean, although would recommend Skiathos Town in order to avoid having to catch a water boat in the evening, you have everything you need within walking distance in Skiathos Town and then have the option of catching a boat to other places as and when you like, Papadiamantis has an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants, enjoy 🌞😎👍

Thank you Terry it's much appreciated. We've decided on staying in town for a first visit. Parga is a regular holiday for us (finger's crossed for this year) Skiathos will be something to look forward to... especially with what were all experiencing. Stay safe pal 👍😎
