Good video Marc. Nice to show that not every trip yields big fish, but like you said you weren't skunked! For me it was not quantity or size, it was the thrill of being out there!!! Another great video!!
That recipe looks amazing. Thanks! Bait shop shrimp and seafood market shrimp come from the same water. My dad used to always take home any leftover live shrimp and it became part of the fish dinner.
really liked your night fishing episode, honestly enjoy all your shows. That dish you created was real nice, looking foward to your next show. Thanks George Rodriguez
I’ve used sandbags before on my setup to keep the light from tipping! If I’m jetty fishing, I’ll anchor it to my ice filled cooler, usually keeps anchored enough in high winds. Tight lines.
EVERY TIME I used to fish Texas Shitty, bait-shrimp would start out being a backup dinner plan, BUT would 99% of the time, end up being the meal. WhOO! I h8 that place. It has the best parking, beautiful water, and no fish. It's the toilet of turmoil, the ditch of lost dignity, the sea of NADA. The place where you might lose ALL of your religion. They then have the NERVE to charge entry on weekends. Ahhhhhhh(got it all out) You're still the best I've seen on fish dishes. ~~Great video~~
Great video, Mark! You had to work pretty hard for that keeper trout, but it looks like it paid off in the end. The pasta and shrimp had my mouth watering! Take care and be safe!
Marc get a 5lb sandbag and place it in the middle of the lower bracket of the C-stand (tripod) and it will never fly away, we do it to all the light gear lights on movie sets. Be safe & tight lines.
Love watching the catch and cooks. I've been cooking with olive oil for years as well. Just recently was told that it has a low smoke temp and that we should switch to avocado oil, which tolerates much higher temps. Definitely try it out. You won't be disappointed.
those lights at the Jetty an interesting way to fish. A few months ago they started closing our Jetty at 11 PM and they are enforcing the time with visits from the police. For decades it was open 24 hours a day.
Good morning just out of curiosity what happened to the guard shack in the $10 fee I was down there 2 weeks ago and caught my very best trout for the 25 and a 27 yeah they were biting really good when that full moon was out I caught a limit everyday for 3 days
I’ve eaten the bait more than once lol thanks Mark !
😂🙌
Love how it turned into a cooking video wasn’t expecting that 😂
Glad you enjoyed it!
Cooking segment looks 🔥 sir! Nice work 🙌
Thanks Thonny 🤙
I enjoyed the night fishing with the lights . The cooking is always great.🦐

Really enjoyed your reaction on pasta and shrimp. Stay cool, Mark , Semper FI, and tight lines....

Thanks Bruce, I appreciate you!
Took the words out of my mouth, thanks for posting this video to encourage us that usually never catch anything big to keep on fishing

Hey Mark, you make me feel good, I am 66 and forget what I want to say from time to time. But not because I ate some awesome Fish, Shrimp and Pasta.

You bet 🙌
Really enjoy fishing at night🎣
The best for beating the heat 🤙
I didn’t hear you say Yeet! when y’all tossed that trout back 😂
😂
Boyd's has had SUPER huge prawn 🦐 last couple times I went. I hope they get some smaller edible shrimp soon 😅 great idea to take those 🦞 home!
BTW we are going to need an MDLR seafood restaurant hopefully soon! 😋🤤
Surprisingly they’ve always turned out to be pretty good.
I’ve used sandbags before on my setup to keep the light from tipping! If I’m jetty fishing, I’ll anchor it to my ice filled cooler, usually keeps anchored enough in high winds. Tight lines.
We’ve talked about doing this. Great minds think alike 👍
That meal looks amazing!
Thanks 🤙
Awesome video Mark! Where did you buy your fishing spotlight and stand? Love it brother. 👌🏼
Got it all from Amazon but they don’t carry the Par64 cans anymore.

It was amazingly good, thanks Christine!
This has happened to us u live and learn using a wait on it on the bottom of the lights 💯💪
Thanks for the tip 👍 we’ll be ready for the next trip.

Thanks for the help, we’ve discussed doing this already. Now looking for something like that.

Thanks for the info!
Hey bro that looked absolutely delicious
Thanks brother 🤙

That would suck to lose 24 hour use. This is one of the most comfortable ways to fish this time of year. Temps nearing the 100+ mark. 🥵
White w Chartreuse is my fav go-to color. Else a purple or Mardi Gras color. ...complete Chartreuse is good too.
Thanks 🤙
Nice video as always.
Thanks brother 🤙
Thank you for picking up the trash someone else left
🤙
Which chupacabra do you use. If you don’t mind
The regular one, black label.
Those shrimp have been big lately. Caught my first pompano last week on the shallow side of the dike.
Agreed 🙌
I salute my brother.
Thanks Lawrence 👍
Is bait shop shrimp cheaper than market fresh? LOL Always good content!!
Not sure 😂 but I don’t ever recall seeing live shrimp at any market.

Good morning just out of curiosity what happened to the guard shack in the $10 fee I was down there 2 weeks ago and caught my very best trout for the 25 and a 27 yeah they were biting really good when that full moon was out I caught a limit everyday for 3 days
To my knowledge they only operate it on the weekends.
Man all that tail meat from the shrimp lol
😂🤙
I take two par can setups. Instead of extra bulb to make sure my can and bulb are good
I’d love to do the same but my generator wouldn’t be able to handle two 1k watt bulbs.
@@MDLRFishing no I take an extra whole can with bulb. For backup
@@MDLRFishing I have a Ryobi 2300. It only runs one light also
@@markseawright2418 okay, gotcha. That would’ve been ideal for our situation. 🤙
How your par can fell over and bent. I take another can just to change out. Lot easier
👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍
