Guys... Seriously. This is showing you half the job. This should be a step by step removal and install of strings using the bow press. Is this too much to ask?!?! COME ON!!
I'd love to get feedback from Ravin on long time storage. I had an injury and my Ravin sat for over two years and the ATA was out over an inch... So I didn't even use the crossbow and then forced to change the strings/cables which is crazy...
@@chs9627yes they do. And that’s why if they don’t show excessive signs of wear or fray or haven’t stretched an extremely excessive amount they can be twisted to shorten up and get everything back in spec instead of replacing them right away.
Make something usfull like a wall mount for my raven so when I wake up in the morning it's the first I see..... This guy probably still uses a flip phone
I was curious how the press worked, so I watched a video on how to use the press. When I wanted to learn how to change cables and strings, I watched a video on cables and strings. Someone said it was half a video. To remove your xbow....unscrew the press. Its not that hard to figure out. Seems like ppl who shoot Ravin Xbows have more money than sense. Need to be spoonfed.
@@knickerbacher7910 until you have any problem with it or need to tune it up or change the cables/strings. Which you WILL need to do within 400 shots/2 years (or less). Then you have to hope you live near a “repair center” because every dealer I’ve talked to will gladly sell you the Ravin; but none would restring/tune/repair it though. I’d hate to have a big hunt planned and have a problem with a Ravin.
Update after a year… Still using the Excalibur bow (twinstrike) that I bought instead of a Ravin this year. Changes strings in 5 mins without any special equipment, adjust brace height when the string stretched from “shooting in” just as easily. The new Ravin r500 weighs the same as my twinstrike but only shoots one arrow and needs a press to do anything to. Excalibur has a lifetime warranty and Ravin won’t stand by theirs longer than a few seasons but costs twice as much. You couldn’t give me a Ravin.
@@donaldfowler7125 - That isn't true. I changed the string and cables on my Ravin yesterday and it took me 20 minutes. It was the 1st time I have done it and it was fast and simple. It's as easy as falling off a slippery rock.

Do We need to keep like that when we don't hunting. Or what we do it for?

Works for Tenpoint crossbows too and also electric screwdriver compatible. 😉

That's people in general, not just ravin owners ... lol
Bull shit raven is the best bow money can buy...............When you shoot one you'll no why..............
You must have never shot a Scorpyd
@@magoo970 a Scorpyd? That is worse than carrying and shooting a Excaliber
It’s like holding a 50lb bag of corn. Ravin is the best
