@@zhalzabillas8384 after I went through other comments, I also realised that Jo loves Laurie, but she hasn’t noticed it yet, she always thought that she can never have both things: being loved and also able to chase after her dream, so when she was proposed, she turned it down immediately instead of considering it thoroughly, which to me, is an impulsive decision. That’s why I think she loves him, just she doesn’t realise it

I agree that they're soulmates, but you can be soulmates without being right for each other in love. They have to figure that out in the hardest way, which is what is so heart-rending about their story.
I enjoy so much about this version of Little Women, but I dislike some of the changes they made in Laurie and Jo's relationship. Mainly Laurie telling Jo that this is the way things should be after he married Amy, but also Jo's letted accepting Laurie's proposal seemingly just so she wouldn't be alone. :\

@@riyamittal9420 he never really in love with Jo romantically. He was never really attracted to her, you could always see it. He just believed he was in love with her because she was the first girl to ever get close to him, and she was different to the high society girls he was usually around. He loved her as a friend and admired her deeply but he wasn’t mature enough to realise it until he fell in love with Amy. That’s why he’s saying he will always love her because he still does as friends but he’s in love with Amy

The whole moral of little women is learning how to deal with love and loss, like how Jo “lost “ Laurie, and they lost Beth, but Amy and Laurie fell in love, and Meg and John. It’s so beautiful cause it’s so authentic to life, how we fall in love with people and we lose people we love and we realize that we aren’t the people we were when we made these decisions, and it’s ok to grow, and it’s ok to not love the person you did and to fall in love with someone who you denied yourself of

This song fits them so well Jo gave a lot of signs in the past that she is still a mess she wants to find herself travel and make her dreams come true all Laurie had to do was give her time and wait but he didn't saw through her and it's not his fault either that he ended up getting tired of his feelings for Jo.

I predicted that Amy was gonna end up with him and jo with the other guy but the moment I saw the chemistry between jo and Laurie I wished their fate had been different it's just such a perfect match I can't imagine it any other way

you know, when I first read little women, I was so upset that jo and laurie didn't end up together. and it just added salt to the wound that amy was my least favorite character, since I'd always considered her a bit of a snob when she was younger. I'm sure that many others feel the same and are upset about it.
but the author wrote jo to represent an independent woman, with no desire for marriage, which at that time was unheard of. Jo was never suppose to end up with anyone, which is very respectable and very ahead of her time. but, unfortunately, this idea was not very popular with society and her publisher would not allow it.
so, whenever I reread the book or watch the movies, I always tend to end it before she meets her husband. because that was never the author's intended ending for her.
Jo and Laurie were never meant to be together.

Am I the only one who’s satisfied with little women’s ending?i mean jo didn’t love Laurie..she heisted. Laurie loved jo but I don’t think Jo loved him. Also if they ended up together it wouldn’t work...when friedrich came to see Jo, Laurie was asking who he was. Laurie always liked the March family that’s why he was being protective.
