I feel so bad for N and D. It sounds like they came out of a bad situation and it’s great that they’re safe. But imagine being removed from your home, and then put into one where you have to work all the time.
My kids too had chronic ear infections and had to have tubes, I could not take them to the grocery store let alone a damn plane when they had ear infections! My poor babies were too miserable with the ear infections, all I wanted them to do is be home and rest. It’s weird because it’s like she thrives when something is wrong with her kids (since she always constantly brings medical things up) but then brushes over it and seems to never genuinely care about their well being. She’s not affectionate in any way. When my kids had ear infections they were in my arms and making sure they were good.
I had that surgery years ago. Harlee may have packaging in her ears for a day or two until they heal so she won’t be able to hear Alusha. The other kids will envy her
James, Patrick and Bree are so under appreciated and overlooked in this family, my heart actually breaks for them. Alusha clearly doesn’t care about them ‘cause they dont make her as much money. I really hope these kids find peace in their future, far away from Alusha.
The way that B* will do anything for Alicia and is always looking for affirmation from her is heart breaking. I’m pretty sure her brother P* is the same
I agree with you, Patrick and Bree are constantly trying to get their Mum to notice them by pleasing her and it breaks my heart that she doesn't acknowledge them. They need reassurance that they are loved unconditionally no matter what they do because this will have an impact not just on them as kids but throughout their whole life. She drags the kids all over NYC without either noticing or caring about some of them really struggling. I'm on the spectrum and before my physical illnesses stopped me I was a teacher and a foster Mum and there are so many things that these kids need emotionally that they are not getting. Her fans are constantly saying that Bree, Patrick, James and Alex are so helpful etc but they don't seem to understand the psychology behind that behaviour. No amount of praise from us can replace the praise they desperately want from their parents. I'm so frustrated like a lot of us that there is little we can do except talking about it to spread awareness. Sometimes I get frustrated with Josh for his blunt and sometimes personal comments but I stand by his belief about child exploitation and will support his channel because he spreads awareness which is the first step in change. What’s sad is the kids can’t complain to her about being bored, tired, having sore feet, wanting to leave, etc because they know the camera is on and their conversation or complaints would be blasted all over the internet. They are simply just shutting down. Shells of children just walking around.

I was curious and watched a couple of their shorts, most of the kids look so nervous in front of camera. There are other family vloggers, where at least the kids seem to like to be in front of the camera. This doesnt feel right at all.
What I’ve noticed is that everyone of those kids never want her attention. They don’t have a rapport and she says something and everyone just ignores her. The only one that pays her any attention is the eldest and maybe the littlest one. When I’m with my family we always talk and my kids are always non stop trying to get my attention so it’s weird to see that they don’t have that.

I agree Josh, my heart breaks for James. I'm a big girl, have always been, I so wish someone cared enough to help me when I was younger. I'm your age now and my body is falling apart. And that kid has such a good heart, I feel like that family beats him down.
In regards to James. I remember watching a few morning routine videos recently, that she did, and she put serviettes inside each of her kid's lunchboxes. For 3 morning routines in a row, she put a serviette that said, "Gobble till you wobble", inside James' lunchbox. I thought that was nasty.

It's also a word meaning to eat enthusiastically which is also associated with that holiday; which is also the meaning of the word you are thinking of. I am an "OG" American. And I am sorry, but anything like that on a napkin is just plain cruelty, leftover turkey napkin or no. "Gobble gobble" is one thing, but Gobble until you wobble is gross to put on a napkin for a child that is already being teased (bullied) about their size. My daughter has elevator anxiety. I’ve carried/walked her up so many steps while everyone else took the elevator. I don’t regret it at all. It’s totally worth it. I don’t want her to have a miserable time doing anything

Just saw a folding laundry short from her and most everyone is asking why are the kids not helping!!! We know it’s for her to get wows and hat a great mom but only a few comments said way to go .. they need life skills !!!!!!!! I posted my 4 & 6 year old help with doing laundry start to finish …. My gosh she would get so much cheer if involved the kids everyday life skills!!

I noticed it and I think that the older teens talk to each other about this as it seems like they are a more united front. They are probably afraid to rebel too much by opting out of videos and so their facial expressions and the I'm exhausted walk is all they can do without serious consequences.

My nephews grandma is a personal flight attendant for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He is a really good junior hockey player himself, and he gets to travel with her sometimes. Yes, their personal team planes are next level. She’s a very nice lady, too. I’ve met her a couple times. My sister passed away 6 years ago on the 5th and she has been amazing for my nephew.

Ive been going back watching your DD videos (the snark on these is top tier), and something just hit me. Im a mom of 4 and I can’t even fathom how as a mom you would even have the ability to film everything. There’s a lot of days I can’t even get basic things done due to the demands of motherhood. How can you do anything if one hand is always up filming every aspect of your lives? There’s no way you can do anything or be any kind of parent and film every minute. I feel so bad for these kids. Having a mom like this would be a miserable existence.

This trip was more exhausting than anything 4 these kids. She tried 2 squeeze in as much as she could, it was 1 thing after another 4 them. They needed a lil chill time 2 rest a bit. Im in Australia and my kids arent child actors. But my 14 year old son (almost 15) works at maccas. The longest shift hes allowed to work is 4.5 hours, he can only work 12 hours all up a week. He usually works 2 shifts about 8 hours all up in a week.

The girl B was a healthy weight a couple of years ago and now she is overweight. That is ALL on Alicia. The other kids must have super high metabolisms bc really with what they eat they should all be overweight. It makes me sick to see all the junk they eat. And she lets the youngest boy eat ice cream most of the time for dinner.

I agree Josh, my heart breaks for James. I'm a big girl, have always been, I so wish someone cared enough to help me when I was younger. I'm your age now and my body is falling apart. And that kid has such a good heart, I feel like that family beats him down.

I remember watching a few morning routine videos recently, that she did, and she put serviettes inside each of her kid's lunchboxes. For 3 morning routines in a row, she put a serviette that said, "Gobble till you wobble", inside James' lunchbox. I thought that was nasty.
Sadly I reckon she doesn’t even read it…. But why would you want serviettes that’s say that anyway 😮

So you may not know that "gobble" is a word commonly used/associated with our Thanksgiving Holiday. Turkey is served at Thanksgiving dinner & they sound like "gobble gobble" when they "talk". It's also a word meaning to eat enthusiastically which is also associated with that holiday; which is also the meaning of the word you are thinking of.
I'm guessing she was using left over napkins from that holiday. I don't think it was a nasty thing directed specifically at James. Does that make sense? I don't condone what this woman does at all. So I hope explaining the use of the word gobble being a cultural holiday thing, provides some context as to why someone might have napkins that say, "Gobble til you Wobble."
I am an "OG" American. And I am sorry, but anything like that on a napkin is just plain cruelty, leftover turkey napkin or no. "Gobble gobble" is one thing, but Gobble until you wobble is gross to put on a napkin for a child that is already being teased (bullied) about their size.
Don't give a crap about size acceptance, but you don't do that when you are supposed to be building them up.

My daughter has elevator anxiety. I’ve carried/walked her up so many steps while everyone else took the elevator. I don’t regret it at all. It’s totally worth it. I don’t want her to have a miserable time doing anything

Just saw a folding laundry short from her and most everyone is asking why are the kids not helping!!! We know it’s for her to get wows and hat a great mom but only a few comments said way to go .. they need life skills !!!!!!!! I posted my 4 & 6 year old help with doing laundry start to finish …. My gosh she would get so much cheer if involved the kids everyday life skills!!

I noticed it and I think that the older teens talk to each other about this as it seems like they are a more united front. They are probably afraid to rebel too much by opting out of videos and so their facial expressions and the I'm exhausted walk is all they can do without serious consequences.

My nephews grandma is a personal flight attendant for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He is a really good junior hockey player himself, and he gets to travel with her sometimes. Yes, their personal team planes are next level. She’s a very nice lady, too. I’ve met her a couple times. My sister passed away 6 years ago on the 5th and she has been amazing for my nephew.

My family is made up of a similar amount of adopted and bio kids. Traveling with everyone at this time of year (which is painful for anyone who isn’t living with their bio parents) and then going to a massive city and throwing sugar all over them is just a horrible and cruel idea

Ive been going back watching your DD videos (the snark on these is top tier), and something just hit me. Im a mom of 4 and I can’t even fathom how as a mom you would even have the ability to film everything. There’s a lot of days I can’t even get basic things done due to the demands of motherhood. How can you do anything if one hand is always up filming every aspect of your lives? There’s no way you can do anything or be any kind of parent and film every minute. I feel so bad for these kids. Having a mom like this would be a miserable existence.

The last vacation I was on, my family had fun. Yeah I filmed some of my kid but it was for memories like when he was playing mini golf or swimming. I didn't force him. It's sicking. Thanks Josh!!

This trip was more exhausting than anything 4 these kids. She tried 2 squeeze in as much as she could, it was 1 thing after another 4 them. They needed a lil chill time 2 rest a bit. I would have wanted 2 take just 1 chill day with nothing specific planned!! Alicia seemed annoyed by Marissa's mom when they spike as well. I wondered why that family went along but weren't included in anything the Doughertys did!

Apparently Harlee had a bad ear infection but yet she must fly on a plane. And the kids/parents get gifts from tv producer Bob Boyett (full house). Apparently she's expecting a reality show. I think Alicia wants to reboot Kate plus 8. Yes the kids definitely don't want to be there and are just performers.
Of course she is and she is pushing for it so badly!!! She has been trying for so many years to get a tv program!! Poor those kids she really doesn’t care about them she sees them as money makers!
Yes, exactly this is why the laws need to catch up and some places have laws where a child can’t be on camera for even longer than 15 days which is why I am in a movie when there’s a newborn, they are clearly much older than an actual newborn
harlee has had an ear infection for awhile now, she’s not “acting out” her ear drums are probably dang near ruptured from the unnecessary flight. i’ve had ear infections that are so bad i would compare them to getting hit upside the head with an axe. she needs to worry about taking her kids to urgent care instead of parading around the mets’ field. i feel so bad for harlee, anyone who’s had a bad ear infection knows how terrible they can be

Im in Australia and my kids arent child actors. But my 14 year old son (almost 15) works at maccas. The longest shift hes allowed to work is 4.5 hours, he can only work 12 hours all up a week. He usually works 2 shifts about 8 hours all up in a week.
That’s brilliant. I’m also Australian, but have heard friends of mine work 11 hours in fast food. Is it just your rule? Or maybe the store he works at? Anyways, that’s great he does 12 hours a week!
My kid is younger and begs to work more than that. So not every kid likes that

Gifts with strings attached, most of which I'd bet they probably didn't even want or ask for, aren't really gifts. Maybe some of the favorite kids might be a bit spoiled, but if they're not grateful for everything and would rather have a normal life, that says more about the parents than them.
I wouldn't exactly call them spoiled. I mean , yes lush drops a shit ton of money on material things for them. However , it doesn't come at no cost. They are the ones working and making her the money. So they are actually working for everything they get .
Poor James is a product of the crap food. He's a big guy naturally, but is overweight because of the crap she feeds them. Naveah is a victim also.
The girl B was a healthy weight a couple of years ago and now she is overweight. That is ALL on Alicia. The other kids must have super high metabolisms bc really with what they eat they should all be overweight. It makes me sick to see all the junk they eat. And she lets the youngest boy eat ice cream most of the time for dinner.
My kids wouldn’t do all this mess even if I wanted them too. 😂 They’d be like Ummm nah
