I love these Frogger games but they get TOUGH. This one also features the hardest Frogger boss out of all of the GameCube Frogger entries. I'm not talking about the final boss, but I'm talking about the boss found in UnderGround 4 lol. It's easy to get stuck here for a few hours. I know I make it all look extremely easy in this video but that's thanks to TAS. My previous recording of this video was done on hardware so I got to improve it quite a bit. The colour range issue has also been fixed in this re-recording. Enjoy!
I've remembered I played this game at a friend's house long ago, and boy was it extremely challenging and quite unique for it's time. It had charm, creativeness, unique level designs that were linear and as someone who grew up playing the original Frogger, this game didn't reinvent the wheel by any means but it did contain the vibe, charm and aesthetics that platformer fans and anyone who played Frogger should least experience this several times to get acquainted by the controls, gameplay and more
Moreso than any of the other Temple of the Frog - to - Helmet Chaos continuity games, this feels like a proper successor to Swampy's Revenge in stage design, enemy design, and general tone; the new development team definitely took some notes. Those bosses are pretty creepy, though.
Have you ever wondered how did this game get the rights to use the exact same Atlantan? Art for the same stones from Disney’s Atlantis lost Empire for the water level for this game. I always wondered why or how but I guess the game Studios that made this game must’ve got right to use it because Disney would have sued this company or at least got into court with them anyways just letting you guys know they’re really play any Froger games but I might give it a try one of these days
There where a lot of Frogger games in this era. Many of them, not that good. I think that Temple of the Frog, and Frogger's Adventures 2: on the GBA, are easily the best Frogger games.

I remember owning this game and playing it, such memories!

The galactic senate doing a satanic ritual over frogger while he stands on a pentagram was pretty wild
Hahahahaha
It's a shame how my first and only Frogger game was Frogger's Adventure on the PS2. I missed out on so many of the actually good Frogger games.
Hahah that's the only one I haven't dared to touch
@ I feel bad for whoever has to eventually do it for the channel. It's not even like Sonic '06 where it's so bad it's good. It's just bad.
Have you done the ps1 frogger game yet?
Good one, not yet. Another member of the team has dibs on it though

cool
This wasn't made by the same developer as Zapper: One Wicked Cricket by any chance, was it?
Nope but close, they made the PS1 Frogger games.
Can't believe they didn't release the PS2 version in NTSC regions. :\
